Contracted CHL construction to complete a large patio outdoor living area. After looking at previous complaints and talking with the owner he explained each complaint that I brought up. Took the chance with them to complete project and all work was completed and worked with us on some unexpected delays due to the inspectors. Will recommend in future.

CHL construction LLC, formally Creative Curbs LLC, both owned by Daniel R P, is a company you do not want to do business with. For a period of six months in 2020, he was hired to do my pool repair including, concrete replacement, pool tile, concrete coping, waterfall repair and travertine paver installation. The entire project was scheduled to be completed in 4 weeks. The materials were always "ordered" but this was never true. Orders for materials were not placed as I found out by contacting the supply vendor. By the end of 6 months, I just gave up with all his lies, excuses and manipulations. After those six months, he completed about 20% of the work. Even more important, the quality of the work completed was unacceptable. Dan requested a deposit of over $13,000 dollars and has refused to give back a penny of this deposit. He took the money that was given to him as a deposit and never returned it or used it towards work/materials. This caused me to pay even more money out of pocket to a new company to complete the job. I ended up paying an additional $25,000 to repair the unacceptable and hazardous work he did. I won a judgement in the Magistrate Court of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina just over 3 months ago and as usual, Dan continues to lie and has told me that the check has been written and would be in the mail. His business does not have a true physical address but only a P.O. Box number. Because of this, the courts are not able to serve him court documents. He continues to change business license names which is how he continues to get away with scamming people over and over again. It has been over 9 months and Dan has caused my wife and myself so much stress and heartache that I hope by telling the public my story, I can help others avoid the antics of such a dishonest person and perhaps save them money before they invest in his company.
