I booked an appointment by providing a $50 deposit for a Sunday service. I was told by the owner that my total for my appointment 6 weeks away was $210. When she reached out days before the appointment, she again stated the $210 price. When I inquired about the time the service would take, I was told 12 hours and asked if I could pay extra to have her come to my home. She declined. Later that evening, she told me that the service was actually $260 and she confused the price. I thought she forgot I paid the $50. She said no, the xsmall braids were more. I had to purchase the hair myself so said that I was fine with small for the $210 we had already agreed on. She said I had to get the more expensive braids. It was late in the evening. I received an email for cancellation. When I contacted her and asked why she responded because she reserves the right to cancel if I dont text back or answer her calls at ANY TIME. There was no call or text. She never responded back.Business response

Sundays are my off day so if a client would like an appointment for a Sunday there is an additional fee of $50. Which is required as the deposit for the appointment! The $50 fee is not included in the total cost of the style. The client clicked an agreed to all terms & conditions listed on the booking site when booking an appointment. I also go over the terms & conditions via text with all clients prior to their appointments. If any client does not respond to email or text confirming their appointment or any correspondence regarding their appointment the appointment will automatically be canceled. All clients agree to these terms & conditions when booking an appointment. All prices are listed for all styles offered on the booking site. I have all correspondence with said client & will attach Consumer Response /* (3000, 11, 2021/10/26) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) This is not factual. I screenshotted all the policies on the website and there is nothing saying I don't get my deposit back or she can cancel if I dont answer. She texted me after 10pm. If I texted her at that time I'm sure she wouldn't answer. She didn't offer another appointment when I did respond to the cancellation or try to fix it. I have attached the policies at place when I booked. Not this that she added. I'm filing a case in small claims if my money is not sent back by 10/29 and she can pay the additional $200 court costs at that time.
