    To whom it may concern, On the night of September 2nd 2021, I checked into the Days Inn Hotel straight across from your store location, at 2998 W Montague Ave, North Charleston, SC 29418 for a family mini vacation for labor day weekend with my brother and his girlfriend. It was our first time staying in Charleston SC on this side of the city, because usually we stay with family members who live in Charleston SC. However we chose this area, because it was closer to Isle of Palms Beach of SC, very convenient to the highway.
    We got checked in late around 10pm that night, and got into our rooms to settled in. Afterwards, I decided to drive across the street, since I am a single woman, and did not trust walking alone, I wanted to drive over, just to purchase some last minute items that I needed it for my first night in Charleston. When I walked into the store, the cashier did not speak to me, or even acknowledged me. However, I did receive a call on my cell phone from a family member, who was checking on my arrival safely, because I originally live in Charlotte North Carolina . I picked up a bottle water, some juices and then I brought them to the counter. As I was asking about the Bic lighters, and trying to check out the designs on them, your cashier proceeded to snatch the lighter out of my hand and told me, there was no need to check them out to see if the lighter is working. He proceeded to say they all work. However, I responded back, because it was just so rude, I have my wallet out, with credit card ready to purchase, and I advised him at that time, it was not that serious and that he did not need to snatch anything out of my hands, while I am standing at the counter, ready to pay. He refuse to hear my opinion about his rude behavior and still proceeded to bag the bottles of water and juices, without even apologizing for his rude actions towards me as the customer. So I then told him I did not want anything from this store, if this is the way you treat people and I left everything on the counter and told the cashier he can put everything back up because I refuse to be treated like this in the store. Then I walked out. I am sure you have cameras in your store, if you replay back the incident of the night Sept. 2nd 2021, between 11pm -12 midnight. Because you will see me come in, and then leave, and I had to go to the next gas station down the road from you called Spinx at 3109 W. Montague Ave. North Charleston, SC, 29418 , in which I was greeted when I walked in, and there was no cashier snatching things out of my hands when I approach the register, just to purchase a hand held Bic Lighter.
    My line of work, is customer service, I have been in the field of a customer service provider for over 15 years. I am a 43 year old female and I currently work as a 911 first responder for a Charlotte North Carolina, Novant Health Hospital for over 4years. So I practice patience and customer service everyday of my life, while saving lives, especially living through this pandemic. So I refuse to tolerate the behavior of your cashier the night I walked into the store. I use to work as a supervisor for a Sam's mart gas Station, and I worked 3 rd shift alone. But never once did I treat my late night customers like this in a store. I ask that this situation to be addressed to your team members, especially the black guy with the afro, with the way he acted, It was unacceptable. At no way did I disrespect him when I walked into the store, nor did I disrespect him when I approach the counter. So I felt whatever he might have been going through, should have never been taken out on the customers entering into this store.
