We hired Movers & Groovers to move us from Mount Pleasant to our new home in Johns Island in May 2021. Prior to moving into the home, we hired ******************** to replace all of the floors with LVP in the home. The movers dragged furniture and their caddy across the new floor entrance which caused scratches in the brand new floor. Because the floor is LVP, it cannot be buffed out and refinished. The floor in those areas need to be replaced. ******************** gave us a written estimate of $975 to replace the flooring. This estimate was shared with **** at Movers and Groovers on June 15, 2021. Since then, I have received the run-around from ****. I have been told the insurance company is reviewing it, the check is in the mail, oh wait I mixed up accounts so the check is not in the mail, and that it would be sent via *****. It has been 5 months and I have yet to see the money. I informed **** that my next step was to contact BBB, but this did not lead to a resolution.
