First of all, I realize that this is my first attempt at getting published. I also realize that you showed great patience with me, but why I am not happy is I spent a lot of money for this product and I felt that the final product was lacking. The mistakes with my book were incredible. Even the jukebox on the cover had an error and boy did I have to hear about that. Here's the lettering on the juke box LIMNPORSTUV (No O) really? Song titles bled into other song titles. One example: (Bottom of page 44) Artist: Napoleon XIV Song Title: They're Coming To Take. Top of page 45. Artist: The Nashville Teens Song Tobacco Road Me Away Ha-Haaa! Also, the manuscript I have and sent them and what the book has are very different in parts. Missing (I) symbols to classify if a song is an instrumental. Some artists and songs were not in alphabetical order. I did many proof reads, but every time we'd make 25 - 30 corrections another group of errors would pop up. We were finally told by Palmetto I could only do 25 more corrections and that was it. otherwise it would cost me more money. That's what we did... we stopped correcting. They didn't even add in my dedication to my wife and sons. I was told in Oct of 23 they would add it. What I am really upset about is I told Palmetto several times that I would be more than happy to pay whatever for a revised, corrected version of my book and they just ignore me. In closing, this is probably the only book I am ever going to write and I also realize that it will never be a million seller, there's nothing wrong in wanting it correct.Review from Henry L

As a university professor emeritus over my 45+ year career I have written academic books and over 140 peer reviewed articles dealing with editors from around the world. On my book the Palmetto Publishing team was absolutely the best, most professional I have ever experienced. There system was extremely organized and the designer, project manager and production first rate. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking to publish a high quality book.Review from David W

This review is true and honest to the best of my knowledge.. I'll keep this as brief as possible. Palmetto Publishing was in our top 2 publishers. We decided to give them a try. Once Palmetto Publishing representative Troy O**** and I decided to go forward with the project he told me to send him my manuscript and he would in return send me an updated price list on new prices for 2024. Three days went by and I never received anything, not even an acknowledgement that he received my manuscript. So I followed up with him. . I immediately sent him a text message and email canceling any type of agreement with him and Palmetto Publishing. I called the company requesting to work with someone else because I didnt feel comfortable with his integrity and commitment to my peoject. Troy answered the company phone. I asked him if I could work with someone else becaue I didnt trust him going forward on my project. He responded, "WE WERE TOO BUSY". Here is where it gets interesting. He then added, "Im the only one you can work with." I said, "There is no one else I can work with in the company?" Troy said, "No". I told him, "well I dont trust you going forward." He said " Well good luck on your project." After hanging up the phone I receive an email from Troy telling me, "Katherine V*********** can work with you". I responded, "Troy this is not helping your case at all. You just told me over the phone there was no one else. Now all of a sudden Katherine is available." 2 days later Katherine called me and (put me on speaker) and asked, "What can i do for you?" I said, "After dealing with Troy, this is the representative of your company so I want nothing to do with you all." I felt by her having me on speaker phone, Troy was right there listening to everything discussed. They may be a great company but be aware they have another side to what they do and how they represent their clients. This is true and honest to thr best of my knowledge.

My second book is being released in the next few days and the staff has done an outstanding job. Jossie meeting with me for months encouraging me and always checking in on my progress. Kristin once the manuscript was complete here and her team went to town. The editing was excellent, the art work for the cover and the layout of the book was all done in a professional manner. Every step in the process I found the staff to be helpful. I am working on two more books and there is no question who will be my publisher. I give Palmetto 5 stars +Review from Damian F

I gotta say, this was one of the most emotional and best experience I went through, many time throughout the process I would overthink things a little too much and felt a slight uneasy feeling going through this process, but Erin miller and nick read made this process so easy for me, they’ve always checked up on me and reassured me that everything was going as planned, and they sure came through, the book cover for my anime novel just blew me out of the water when I seen it, and to actually see my creation coming to life is a story within itself and I couldn’t be more please than to have these two working by my side, much love for y’all and I can’t wait to work with y’all again in the future thank you palmetto!Review from Elbert R

Palmetto Publishing at first had published Building 51 with many mistakes in the editing. When I complained and contacted them, they were most willing to re-edit several times and submit the books to different publishers again. I have been most impressed by their willingness to correct the errors and take my concerns into account. Their cooperation and excellent re-editing has been most appreciated. Palmetto even offered to send me the edited books, so that I could give them to family and friends who had purchased the first problem batch of books. Whoever does the editing needs to be fired. In Building 51 authored by Elbert Russell, PH.D, there are so many mistakes that an eighth grader would have known better. Just one example as there are many more: pages 65 to 68 have incorrect tenses on every single page and this was the second editing! This company should be banned from publishing anyone's book. On the first round of editing, "mental hospital" was written as "metal hospital" and there were a myriad of other mistakes. The author pointed these out and now on the final revision, there are still sloppy and numerous mistakes. Buyer beware.Palmetto Publishing Response

The books arrived as promised and I am delighted. They are selling well, too. Everyone remarks on their gorgeousness. The staff at Palmetto Publishing was encouraging and attentive from start to finish. They responded quickly and helpfully to all my fretful emails and took pains at every turn to produce the book the way I wanted it done, with expert advice improving on my vision and grammar.
