            As another fishing business in another state, we purchased 2 engines from Captain Larry and were informed they were great running engines and nothing needs to be done. After spending the time and added expenses to go get the engines and paying for them we delivered them to our mechanic. While prepping the engines a plate was found hiding a hole in the block of one of them. We contacted Captain Larry to get our money refunded and he get the motors back, he refused. His mechanic claims that there was nothing wrong with them and that he had rebuilt them himself. If that was the case he knew the motor was damaged. Beware buying anything from that business.

            Both Motors were in Excellent Running Condition. The Starboard Engine was completely rebuilt in the Spring of 2021. We have all the invoices for the parts and labor that went into the engines. We also have several people that work for us that can verify that both engines ran very well all season and both engines ran excellent up to the shipyard in December 2021. They were good running engines and both transmissions were also rebuilt in the past year. Please contact me, Capt Larry H for any questions regarding these motors.
