      Saturday Aug 17, 2024 Reservation number was ******.Sea watch room s311 When we called on Saturday Aug 17, *************************************************************** this unit. The moldy smell was making us both feel sick, ceiling was covered with black mold, we experienced breathing issues immediately upon arrival. The beds linens were dirty and sheets had hair on them. The shower curtain fixtures were all rusted, the curtain itself was all black with dirty mold on it. There was an old smelly black dirty shaggy mop in closet for us to wash our own floors with smelled Like a swamp. Vacuum in closet next to bedroom for us to vacuum the unit, the filters were dirty filled with old Dust and smelled like dog hair. Bed pillows were so dirty and all yellow from other peoples bodily secretions. Room came with 4 towels only and I paid an extra ***** for 4 additional towels. I was told that there was a coin operated public laundry on the premises and I could wash my dirty ones if we needed more. 1 role of toilet paper for 7 days, 1 trash bag. When I called Condo World on Saturday she told us they would send house keeping back over to change the bathroom shower curtains out but as far as the black moldy ceiling and the dirty shaggy mop there was nothing they could do. She did say its just to wash the floors with if we need to. Same with the vacuum. We flew here from ** and this vacation was a total disaster therefore we are asking for a ?? refund from Condo world.. I have left messages daily regarding this issue. I called this morning and was told they never got messages from me because the girl I was dealing with was on vacation so therefore they will only reimburse us for 2 days!! I paid an extra ****** for early check in was told via email on Saturday at 2:00 pm the room was cleaned and ready. They claim they sent me an email earlier but not true. The room was Not clean and the mold needs to be addressed. Full refund should be available to us.

      Condo World refuses to refund money paid for vacation rental. They allege that they would refund if someone else rented the property during the same time period, but they no longer list the property up for a vacation rental at this time.Shady practice.

      This guest booked online and formally agreed to the policy below prior to booking. The property is currently available on our website for re-rental. Per our Cancellation Policy, which was agreed upon by the guest, if the property does not re-book, there will be no refund. If it does re-rent, the refunds will be adjusted for re-rentals for fewer nights and/or lesser price than the price of the cancelled reservation. The guest agreed to these terms and Condo-World will not be making an exception to these terms.

       

      "Cancellations 30 days or less to arrival date:

      Monies paid will be refunded less a $100 fee if the accommodations are re-rented for the same dates and price as the cancelled reservation. Refunds will be adjusted for re-rentals for fewer nights and/or lesser price than the cancelled reservation. If the accommodations are not re-rented, monies paid are non-refundable or transferrable. If **************** was purchased, please contact CSA Seaside Coastal **************** at ************** for coverage details and the claims process."

      It clearly shows that location is not available to rent for vacation during that time period.  

      I will be contacting my credit card company to dispute the charges.

      The condo was disgusting. Our feet were black within five minutes of walking through the condo. There was black mold, growing on the bathroom ceilings, and in the grout on the floors. One bathroom is was probably a 3ft spot of black mold. They did have a person come bleach the ceiling in the one bathroom and the maintenance man sad yep thats mold. There was thick standing dust on all the fans, lamps and TVs. The mold is the main issue. I did complain to the condo world and they wouldnt clean again because I waited 2 days to say anything. They reimbursed me the cleaning fee of 125$ but in my option the black mold is more of an issue than anything. My family and I have asthma and allergies and the condo recked havoc on us all week. All the sheet were stained. The bed comforters were probably 10 years old with god knows what on them The couchs were so broken down it was even uncomfortable to sit on. The area rug in the living area is brown from dirt.
