            When the hostess greeted us we informed them we had never been. She let us know that seating was first come first serve except for the middle section that was first come first serve until 3PM. We then sat in front of the fireplace and owner (Deb) informed us we couldn’t sit there because we didn’t have a reservation (Different from what we were told walking in). Then she moved us to the bar and we tried to order a tasting. We were told to do a “walk-in tasting” you needed to go to the back deck (again straight from Deb- the one that took us to the bar) . We asked not to move again so they let us stay at bar for a tasting. There were 3-4 other groups doing a tasting so we were unsure of the problem with us sitting there in the first place. We purchase 2 tastings and a bottle of white muscadine wine. We tried to purchase a pimiento cheese plate 3 times. & never got it. I Informed the other owner (Josh) of mishaps and was slapped with a generic “Thank you for your feedback I appreciate you letting me know.” Being okay with unhappy customers is not a great way to be running a customer oriented business. I'm sorry to have wasted my money supporting this establishment.

            We’re so glad you visited and took the time to review your experience. We hate to hear that you did not feel the warm hospitality that we strive to offer our guests. Our weekends have been very busy since opening our new space and we realize we have areas to continuing growing our systems in.
