    I REQUESTED A SERVICE CALL ON AN SPLIT HEAT/AIR UNIT. I WAS QUOTED $119.00 PLUS FREON, WE THOUGHT IN WAS A FREON ISSUE. THE UNIT HAD BEEN WORKING, AND WAS JUST BLICKING AND WOULD NOT WORK. I HAD SOME INITIAL ISSUES WITH THE 1ST INSTALLERS. WE HAD FOUND ISSUES WITHE COPPER TUBING THOUGHT THAT WAS WHAT WAS GOING ON AGAIN.WHEN THERE TECH ARRIVED, HEIMMEDIATELY CHECK THE FREON LEVEL AND STATED THAT IS WAS NOT THE ISSUE, AND HE NEEDED TO LEAVE AND GO GET TOOLS AND COME BACK TO TROUBLESHOOT. HE WAS ONLY THERE 15 MINUTES. HE (****) RETURNED 2 HOURS LATER, LOOKED AT THE UNIT AGAIN, CLAIMED IT WAS THE MOTHERBOARD AND THE BOSS (****) WOULD BE CALLING IN REGARDS TO GETTING THE PART. THIS ALL TOOK PLACE ON THURSDAY 12-7-23. THEY CHARGED MY CARD $489.00 FOR THE SERVICE CALL. THE TECH WAS ONLY THERE 45 MINS THE SECOND TIME. (NOT MY PROBLEM HE DIDN'T COME PREPARED. ON MONDAY 12-11-23 I RTECEIVED A CALL FROM **** IN REGARDS TO THE MOTHERBOARD FOR THE UNIT. HE CLAIMED IT WOULD BE $1095 FOR THE PART. AT THIS TIME I INFORMED HIM THAT THESE UNITS WERE ONLY 2 YEARS OLD AND IT SHOULD BE A WARRANTIED PART. IHE TOLD ME DUE TO CONFUSION SURROUNDING MY INSTALL HE WAS UNAWARE HOW TO GET THE PART WARRANTIED ( THATS RIDICULAS). I TOLD HIM I WOULD MAKE CONTACT WITH THE COMPANY I PURCHASED THE UNITS FROM TO GET THE PART. ON WEDNESDAY 12-13-23 I CALLED HIM TO ASK FOR THE PART # I NEED TO GET FOR THE REPAIR. AT THIS TIME HE INFORMED ME THAT HE DIDNT HAVE THE MODEL # OR SERIAL # SO HE DIDNT HAVE ANY INFORMATION REGARDING THE UNIT HE HAD JUST SENT HIS TECH OUT TO TROUBLESHOOT, AND WANTED ME TO GIVE HIM $1095 FOR A PART HE DID NOT EVEN KNOW WHAT IT WAS! (MAJOR RED FLAG) .WHEN I TRIED DISCUSSING THE ISSUES WITH HIM HE STATED I WAS PUTTING WORDS IN HIS MOUTH AND HE WOULD HAVE TO LOOK INTO IT. THIS IS HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICE. I HAVE DISPUTED THE CHARGE OF $489.00 WITH MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY. I HAVE ASKED FOR REIMBURSEMENT OF $370.00. IM WILLING TO PAY $119.00 FOR THE SERVICE CALL.
