In May 2022 I had my AC unit replaced by one of the owners, *************************, at Mission ******************************************** Since then, I've been having nothing but problems. In February 2023 I contacted **************** because my new AC unit was making the same clicking noise that my old unit was making. **************** came out to my home, informed me there was a problem with my wiring and the wiring was replaced. I continue to have issues and on March 16th, **************** informed me that he had been doing some research and has figured out the issue that was causing my problem and that he would come out. On March 24th, I followed up with **************** and informed him that my unit was putting out hot air. The next day, he came to my home and told me that my thermostat needed to be replaced. As a result, the thermostat was replaced. On July 13th, I called **************** because my home was not cooling off. As a result, **************** came out to my home to assess the issue. At that time I was told that it was my ducts that needed some repair and agreed to put more freon in my unit while he worked on getting me a quote. On July 26th and August 8th, I followed up with **************** again because I never received the quote. On August 12th, I received the quote; however, the quote that was provided listed the price of a new air handler. As a result, I attempted to contact **************** several times only to be ignored. Finally, On August 15th I decided to contact another company and write a review on my page about my experience. I immediately received a call from another owner of the company, ***************************, who agreed to come out to my home at 4pm on August 15th to assess the issue. He also agreed to replace the ducts that needed to replaced for free due to the inconvenience and as a way to offset the astronomical power bill that I had received. At 9:45pm, I received a text asking if I could remove my negative review. I refused to remove it until my issue was resolved. ************** then refused to come out to my home.Business response

Hello,
We did receive the complaint from complaints the same day she filed with you and wrote on our ****** page a bad review. In April 2022 we had just started business and she was one of first calls to a partner of the company. He looked at her unit and provided a quote to her. The partner new this person through a friend. She did not like the price of the quote and since it was a friend of a friend the partner said he would help her out outside of his business just this once since we were just getting started. Mission Heating and Cooling therefore never provided an invoice for any work done since she was not agreeing the Mission Heating and Cooling quote. This was explained to her by the partner. Fast forward to July 2023 she called the partner and he went out to look at system a couple times. He finally determined it was a duct and air handler issue and provided a quote for repair although not in the time the customer would have liked and instead of calling another company she waited for quote. Once she received quote she called us one time and didnt get answer and proceeded to file these complaints. I then contacted her and she was blaming us for her high power bills. Mission Heating and Cooling never charged her any money during any of the visits and only provided the quotes. I did decide to pay her power bills just to get her to remove her reviews and complaints which it looks like she has not done. So even though I feel we could Of handled it differently she never was charged any money from this company. I request this complaint be denied do to the fact I gave her money I probably shouldnt have but felt that was the only way to move forward and put this behind us and therefore should settle in dispute.
