      We purchased a leather sofa & several chairs from this company when we moved to the area. Within 2 years our leather sofa started to fray on the seams. We had it replaced (at our $500 expense) even though we bought all the warranties when purchased. The manager, **************************, wouldn't respond to anything that I corresponded to him, except to tell me that they wouldn't take care of it. Within 6 months of having that replaced, the leather between seats...where no one sits...is like falling apart! (this is the same cushion that was replaced!!)I find that **************** is scamming all the people he deals with. I believe his associates know that he isn't being fair. You just know by the looks you get when you talk about him. I wish that there was truly something, but even the Hdqts send all my replies back to him...so nothing gets done. What a shame when you pay over $2,000 for something so special for your ********* treats you like dirt under his feet. Also, I had bought 2 night tables for our bedroom. One came with streaks developing under the finish. It had been taken care of 3x...the 3rd time, when we brought it home, has a small section on the corner that wasn't quite dry when they put it in the car & caused a little damage. After approaching **************** about the problem, I told him that I was surprised the company didn't replace it at the start. He told me he could have another one for me, but I had to wait 4 months.....needless to say, he was just "pulling my chain"! He NEVER INTENDED to trade it out!PLEASE FOLKS, DON'T DO BUSINESS AT THE *********, ** STORE!The sales people are lovely. ALSO, they charged us $500 to deliver our new furniture when it came in...we live 6 mins from the store!

      We purchased a sofa/recliner from ************************ in 2019 and a recliner chair in 2021. We had issues with the sofa right from the beginning, with bolts falling out of the recliner mechanism which required a repairman to fix, while under warranty. Now that the sofa is out of warranty, we had the same issue with bolts being found on the floor. Also, the fabric wear on the recliner chair in the form of pilling. We had lifetime fabric warranties on both pieces of furniture, but of course, that wasn't covered by the warranty. The back cushions on the chair and the sofa were no longer offering support. The sofa is four years old and the chair less than two years old. Having been in the furniture business many years ago, I know this is not normal wear. So for the serviceman to show up at our door and replace the bolt that had fallen out of the sofa, and LOOK at both pieces of furniture was $195 and of course, he did not have the filler for the cushions to resolve the lack of support. So for that I was charged $337. So to replace a bolt, and to add some filler to the cushion backs will have cost me $532 which is an unconscionable amount of money. I could buy a new regular chair for this amount, but since my wife and I have spinal issues, we require the recliners. I see why the BBB gives this organization a C- and I think that grade is generous.

      I purchased a chair from La-z-boy which was on clearance on the showroom floor. I was told the price was all in out the door minus the sales tax and included fabric protection. When I got home and looked at the sales ticket I realized I had been over charged. I called 3 different times and no one could explain the price and they were very rude to me on the phone. So I went in person the next morning and talked to a manager who agreed we were over charged but could not explain why and would not give us the $70 refund we were due. The clearance price was $679. We were told this included fabric protection. When I looked at the ticket the price was listed as 629 with $114 added for fabric protection which equaled $743 plus sales tax came out be $799. When in reality it should have been $729. The numbers dont make since and dont add up. Our sales person was on vacation and we were told wed have to wait a week for answers. This is poor business ethics and very unprofessional. The prices on the floor are false advertising because theyve been treated with fabric protection but the price doesnt reflect it. They then charge you for the protection whether you want it or not because its already been treated. Im done with la-z-boy. In the end I got refunded my money back and will take my business elsewhere.
