My service appointment was schedule for 7:45. As I was running late, I called the Toyota of Rock Hill service department at 7:55 to ensure they would still be able to service my vehicle. A female associate told me they would still be able to perform the services requested. I provided her my name and let her know my ETA. Upon arrival (8:15), a service associate approached my vehicle to take my information. He then informed me I would have to reschedule. I provided him with the details of my conversation with the female associate 20 minutes earlier. I asked to speak with a manager and he said it would be at least 5 minutes at which point I decided to leave. He either did not have the authority to make any executive decision other than direct me to reschedule my appointment, lacked critical thinking skills (to perhaps bring this miscommunication to the attention of someone with broader executive decision making authority), or cared enough to take some action to please a dissatisfied customer. The associate was nice, but the 'have a blessed day' came with a backhanded tone I did not appreciate. At my company, our clients are at the center of everything we do. We believe that taking care of our clients is everyone's job and work hard at every day to earn their loyalty. Unfortunately this was not the case today for Toyota of Rock Hill.Review from Steven P

My husband and I purchased a 2015 **** F150 back in June of 2023 with ****** miles. This is a pleasure vehicle for us we don't drive it often at all. About three weeks ago I was driving it and the oil maintenance light came on. I told my husband about it and he notice that the miles had gone from 72,00 to *******. We immediately contacted Toyota of Rock Hill on 1/15/2024. They had it for about two to three days and said we don't know what you could have done to the truck in six months take it to ***** If you know ******** the **** dealer is across the road. It stayed at Toyota two to three days. They had our sales lady to call us and tell us they are not responsible for the truck. She was willing to take it for us but they would not allow her to take it at first. She said my manger says it's your responsibility to take it to ***** I had to call and request to speak to ********************* the ** before we could get them to take it over there. Once it was there they made it clear to **** that whatever was going on with the truck was not their responsaibility. They also never let us talk to ***************. Now it's 3 weeks going on 4 weeks later and **** says that this truck has done this one time before back in 2019 this was not on the car fax. And I still don't have a truck it's still at ***** I would NEVER have purchased a vehicle for over $32,000 with over ******* miles on it. The bank would have never financed it. And there is also no way that it is humanely possible to put that many miles on a vehicle in six months. Therefore I would think that Toyota of Rock Hill would treat their customers with more respectReview from Meloni H

I have concerns that this location sells services that are not needed and have questionable business practices. On 9.1.23 (mileage ******) I went to Toyota Rock Hill b/c front brakes were squeaking. I arrived at 8:00. By 10;00 am I had no communication. I questioned the length of time this was taking with an appointment. The advisor went back and ONE MINUTE LATER I saw a tech run out and get my car, followed by the service advisor apologizing for the delay and advising I would need front brakes and rotor. I asked him how that was determined since I saw them take my car back one minute prior. This assessment was done in under 2 minutes; I timed it. He advised they saw it when they put the car on the pulley. Hmmm. The stoplight report they gave me showed RF (3) failed; LF (3) failed; Right Rear (6) failed and Left Rear (6). I don't doubt I needed brakes, but I question the rotor. I don't want to drive an unsafe car, so I agreed to the work. I planned to go back to ************** Toyota b/c they did the back brakes 6mo prior. On 9.8.23 I went to T&C Toyota. They adamantly disagreed with the report. They said: 1) on 3.27.23 (mileage *******) they replaced my back brakes and rotor & at that time, my front brakes registered at an 8. The ** said there is no way my front brakes went from an 8 to a 3 in less than 6 months and 5k miles. He said I likely may have needed brakes but questioned the advice that I needed rotors given that information and the fact they assessed it so quickly; 2) They also disagreed that the back brakes failed and registered a 6 as indicated above. Their check showed my brakes were at stated that their check showed my back brakes were at a 10 and passed! I would not recommend Toyota Rock Hill. You can't believe what they say, and I believe I was sold a rotor unnecessarily. Another Toyota dealer confirmed my suspicions. I like Toyota and support that Company, but the Rock Hill location has shady business practices. Beware!!Review from Rui Z

I would like to give one start if I could. I saw a truck Ive wanted to purchase on their website on 3/30/2023 and called a sales. He said he would let me know the first thing in the morning on 3/31. Of course, I didnt hear anything back from this ******. So I went ahead and placed an online order and made sure that it sat 4 passengers. Then a sales ******* called me saying that the one sat 4 actually was not this price and she said it was the same vin number, and she sent me the spec sheet. It is $17xx more. She said the online order was just to get my interest and it was not an actual order. I asked why I had to upload my DR and insurance card of it was not, she said I didnt need to. That was not true. The website not only asked me for my card, but also indicated if I didnt put my license number, I couldnt proceed. She couldnt answer any of my questions about the discrepancy of the spec sheet and the online description. So obviously, 1. they are cheating customers to give themselves space to increase the price. 2. They are stealing customers personal information when they dont have the product for purchase. From now on, anything happened to my family, ID theft or burglary. They are my first suspect to report to the police. And you all, dont be fooled to put your information. Also, they will contact you and once they get your hooked with a product, they will never answer you or reply your email. It happened twice today with 2 different sales. Somebody, maybe a superviser, felt no sooty and kept telling me they were too busy Toyota Rock Hill, stop cheating and stealing.Review from Michael D

I purchased a new 2017 Rav4 from Toyota of Rock Hill. One of the freebees we were offered was free oil changes for the first ****** miles. This was really an oil change at ****** miles and one at ****** miles. ** ****** miles I took my new Toyota in and had the oil changed. I was working for the public schools at the time and the automotive shop teacher told me I did not want to change the oil on the recommended ****** miles, that I should change the oil at ***** or ***** miles as I had always done. Toyota of Rock Hill refused to change the oil early, so at 1*****miles, I changed the oil myself. I drained oil and I removed the oil filter. The oil filter was packed, I repeat packed with dirt and sand! Im not sure how this could have happened by accident. I could not have offended anybody in the shop. I did not come into contact with anybody at all** ****** miles I again changed the oil and the filter was very clean. I do not know why this happened, but I will never let Toyota of Rock Hill service department touch another vehicle of mine again.Toyota of Rock Hill Response

We would gladly change your oil, however if you do not follow the Toyota guidelines your oil changes are not complimentary. I'm certain we explained that and you refused to cover the cost on your own. I do apologize for any and all confusion we caused. if this was a New 2017 why have you waited so long to bring this to our attention? We would've gladly assisted before now had we known!
