On March 25, I mailed a $179 check for a year's subscription and books which they acknowledged on April 12. I was told books were on the way when I called them on May 13. On May 28, I emailed them/asked for a refund. I mailed a certified letter to them on June 13/received books on July 1 - NOT REFUND! I was assured of a refund check when I called them again on July 2. To date, I have not received my $179 refund.Initial Complaint

They offer a money back guarantee if not happy with the subscription. I called them because I was not happy with it. I paid them by check and they said I would get a refund in ***** days. I have been waiting for 3 months to get my money back. They continue to not pay me. It was only $79 for the subscription. I**;m tired of calling them and having them lie to **** would like a refund.Initial Complaint

I am rejecting this response because:Office Manager, ******, told me I would be receiving my refund the following week. This has been 4-5 weeks ago and still no refund. Since then, I have tried to call them numerous times and she will not return my calls.

I am rejecting this response because:
I placed an order for a Gladiator and Freedom Module on September 22, 2023 for
$14,,494.00. The order number is 126217,
I purchased my Ordered from Offgrid Confidential through *******************.
I called back in January to make the final payment and no one answered my call. I continued to call for one weekend he did not return my call.
At that point, I decided this was not a company I should be dealing with and I wanted my money back.

i purchased a product called a Renegade ****, an industrial grade home power system, on or about February of this year. The product arrived on or about March of this year. As an engineer, i wanted to test it to see if it performed as advertised in the business' product literature. In that literature, they compared it to a gasoline generator whose run-time capacity was **** hours. They stated that "OUR Renegade product has a battery capacity equivalent of ******* Ah based on the model we are currently building, so this is roughly twice the power capacity in running time." One problem here is that they are comparing the gas generator output which is AC power to the battery output of their unit which is DC power. They do not mention that the DC power must go through an inverter which drops its output power by a factor of 10. So now,comparing AC to AC, their Renegade **** has a 30 Ah capacity and with a load placed on the unit of only 1.5 KW, their unit would have a run-time capacity of 3 hours and 51 minutes. Therefore, this shows that their home power system is not even equal to the gas generator which is far less expensive. Due to this i called them and asked for a refund. They stated that they would refund my money once the unit was returned to them. i sent the unit to them and they received it on May 19, 2022. They refunded me with a partial refund of $****.00 dollars which i received on June 13, 2022. The unit cost me $7,997.00 dollars. i have called ************************** the owner, and left messages concerning when i might receive the outstanding balance of $4,997.00 dollars, no response. i called their customer service **** ********************** no response. i have sent them emails asking what their schedule was for paying me back in full, no response.i am interested in recovering the full amount of monies that i spent for this product. At this time i have no idea if they intend to pay me the full amount that they owe me or just hope that i will go away.Business response

I would like to apologize to ****************** for the lack of a complete refund of the Renegade he purchased from our company. We did send a check (#****) dated 6/8/2022 for $3,000.00, and still owe him $4997.00. We are sending a check out by Tuesday, 8/30/2022 for 1,000.00. Within 30 days after, we will have him another check for $3997.00 mailed and will be paid in full. Thank you for letting me react to this problem, and hope ****************** will be understanding. He will be Paid in full by Oct.1,2022.

I am rejecting this response because:i received the check for $1,000.00 dollars in the timeframe specified, but i did not receive the second check which would have paid me in full by Oct. 1, 2022. i waited two weeks in case the check took longer than normal to arrive in the mail. i am still waiting on a check in the amount of $3,997.00 dollars to be paid in full. Since i have not received the last check or been paid in full, i wish to rebut this complaint by reopening it, Complaint # ********.

Hello, this is *************************, on behalf for *************************, I am very sorry this agreement was not met. I have done everything in my power to get this refund paid in Full. I was told the company, Off Grid Confidential has fallen on hard times and are trying to make Good with All of their refunds. I do not know what all this will bring us to. I do know ********************** is doing Everything to make everyone happy. That is his main Goal. I hope everyone will try and understand, although this doesn't get your money back as soon as date given. Again I (myself) am very sorry for this. *****
