I was told I could try the product for free the first 3 months and if I wanted to discontinue I could contact customer service. They fast talk me into signing a contract in which later I found out I was signing a loan for 8k. When I got the first bill the loan was for 10k. I dont plan on living in this house forever. So now Im stuck with 10k debt on my credit. I want the company to come get their product because I never agreed to take out a loan that will probably take 10 years to pay back.Business response

PLC worked directly with the consumer to resolve the issue. We do not offer trials as well as do offer financing as a convenience to our customers. Called due to unreasonable prices was told one price to pay monthly before during and after installation I had got three different payment prices. Unfortunately making the payments they have us down for will put me paying this thing until I die almost. Deferred the payment but still billed interest without prior knowledge. Asked several times what to do if I change my mind on the device and never given a straightforward answer until after our 30 days and then told I only had 3 days to return it.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:
-8/28/2023 - company was deceitful on prices, cancellation policy and interest charges. - company gave gift card, free service for a year, referral pots and pans, and drinking faucet but did not correct the issue of me wanting the system taken back. I had called after the first statement came in and saw that even though my payments were deferred that interest was still collecting to which they sent the gift card. I specified that the interest was 3 dollars less than my payment and was told to just pay more than the monthly payment. When I refused to take down my bbb complaint I was told to please guide myself accordingly. I did not want the free stuff but was bribed in order to get the negative reviews taken down. I was told by sales person the system would be outside in a shed and was basically pressured into letting them put it in a closet inside the house. I had asked up front what if I couldnt afford it and instead of answering honestly was gaslighted by being asked are you not going to be able to afford clean water. I was also under the impression that I could cancel whenever as implied in the 14 bulletin items on the back of the service agreement was stated only to be informed that I could only cancel within 3 business days. I was lied to, deceived as well as dealt with poor customer service.

Based off our previous response we were under the impression all issues had been resolved. The consumer was initially happy with all interactions with our company. We base this off the review that was initially left stating makes showering and cleaning such an amazing experience. Also,during the time of the follow up visit stating better taste, soap savings, no chlorine, easier cleaning, clothing benefits, and softer skin which was done on October 5th.
When you called 10/11 after receiving the first statement the discussion was about interest as well as removal. Pure Life Carolinas is not a financial institution but if the customer requests we will always assist within our control. When the topic of removal came months after purchase it was shortly discussed before the call was ended without finding any resolution.
To see a customer who was happy change to an unsatisfied customer is beyond disappointing. When our team member contacted the customer no issue with installation was mentioned. All other concerns were listened to and addressed. 10/16 we completed our second visit we were once again told the customer was satisfied and had no problem reflecting that on the different platforms it was communicated on. This was evident when the customer altered on some platforms. We as a company do believe in exhausting all avenues to ensure our customers are happy within reason but do not have the ability to control whether the customer leaves feedback or what kind of feedback it will be. Our main priority is the customer being satisfied regardless of what is stated online.
We do offer financing as a convenience to our customers with different vendors with a wide variety of plans that fit our consumers needs. Internally we have multiple processes to confirm our consumers have received what they were promised as well as the external processes from the provider of financing.This includes returns, removals, and cancellations.
