On February 20th, 2024 we were quoted a magnet housing which included the magnets from BID Group. We placed the order. We received our order several weeks later and the magnet that was supposed to be included was not, so I reached out to ask what happened. They responded saying the person initially quoted the magnets incorrectly and we would need to order them separately and wait several more weeks for the magnets. I asked the representative at BID group that I was now speaking with to assist with better pricing since their error caused us to misquote our customer and their error wasted several weeks of our time and our customer's time. They offered 15% off of the magnets which I had to accept at the time to get our customer their parts back, however I do not feel that is sufficient given their ineptitude and what it cost us.Business response

This magnet that ***** ******* Hydraulics requested a quote for from BID was never sold by BID before this instance. We reached out to the manufacturer for the part number on the magnet and the manufacturer told BID that the magnet would be included in the magnet housing and that BID should have its customer order the magnet housing. BID was made aware that the magnet housing did not include the magnet by ***** ******* Hydraulics when ***** ******* Hydraulics received the order. ***** ******* Hydraulics put the magnet on order from BID and a 15% discount was applied for the magnet by BID. BID has now issued a credit for the magnet housing as the manufacturer confirmed May 22, 2024 that the mistake was on the manufacturer's part. ***** ******* Hydraulics has been notified of the credit they will receive, and a credit memo was issued May 22, 2024. BID has requested that ***** ******* Hydraulics scrap the magnet housing.
