I entered into a 1 year lease agreement on september 8th of 2023 with PMI Southern states we moved in and they were supposed to fix repairs before we moved into the house and have it cleaned it wasn’t cleaners nor were rotted floors replaced in bathroom and kitchen when they finally half fixed the rotted floor in the kitchen by my refrigerator I guess roaches were living in refrigerator and stove well they started coming out everywhere they sprayed 3 times and they were just getting worst the lease states they take care of pest control but they denied every single request after the 3rd spray so I told them we wanted to move as I have a 4 year old and roaches are nasty AND not healthy nor clean I would come home from work and there’d be at least 20-3o in cabinets drawers on counter stove EVERYWHERE!!! Continue to try and get it fixed with them and they just refused to do anything so I told them we would be moving they said we can move out without any penalties etc… well I go to pay my 1530 rent with a Monday order because they locked the portal to make payments so I work a full time job they told me I had to bring a money order up there to them but I wasn’t able to till my next day off well they continued to charge late fees and when I took money order up there I get a notice the next day on portal saying I was being charged $40 for an eviction fee??? Like wait yall are and we’re supposed to give me a written notice of non payment of rent and their intentions to terminate the rental agreement within a certain period of time if rent hasn’t been paid in that time frame but my lease agreement states that on the 6th day of non payment of rent a notice to quit letter is sent certified mail to tenants and an additional $100 charge fee will incur on the 11th day of non payment of rent an eviction notice will be filed with clerk of court (which they did ) there’s so much more but not enough room to finish what I want to say but they are scamming people out of lots of money
