They were paid 2000 to store my things for 4 months, got my job back in late Sept and called the Movers on Nov 15th who I had just paid on Nov 1. They, well the owner Sam, ghosted me after several calls, and then I got a call Nov 18th from a Pastor in Maryland telling me that he had bought the smaller of my two storage units on October 26th and he felt something was wrong because the items seem to be very recent. Turns out everything that I own was auctioned off. The Movers had put my things in Public Storage and then Never Paid. I am at a loss, literally. I lost my entire kitchen, dining room, bedroom, office, living room, all my outdoor equipment and tools, all my professional clothes, all of my holiday decorations, all and everything relating to my children growing up - videos of them as babies, their baby books, hundreds of pictures, 15 huge jars of sea glass the kids and i collected over the years, artwork they had done... you get the picture. ... everything just gone. The Pastor gave me some stuff back, however no personal items and the furniture that I got back is mostly useless, Dining room table with no tabletop, all furniture is missing all it's drawers. Thank goodness he was honest. However the majority of my things were in the larger unit or Sam stole it because I found out that he happened to open a storage unit himself, the same
