James at Apex Auto installed 6 trackers in vehicles- 5 at my residence and 1 at his location. For insurance purposes, they require a kill switch. James stated he was familiar and could do the installation. The first install occurred 9/19- James was paid $250 after originally stating it would be $200. Install 2 occurred 9/28- James installed 4 trackers and was paid $600. Install 3 occurred 10/5 and James installed one tracker and was paid $125. I was notified on 10/24 by the tracker company they were not installed properly and were sending error messages. I notified James of this and he agreed to fix them. I made several appointments which James either did not show up for or rescheduled. I contacted another mechanic who has done other installs to try to connect them and finish the job but James was unresponsive. On 11/28 James notified me that he will only fix one of the vehicles and I’ll need to find someone else.
