I purchased speakers for my auto and had them installed there. Several days later I experienced noises, off and on in my car, I did not know where or what was the cause. I went to the dealership that services my car and they ran a diagnostic and found that the speakers were not compatible for my vehicle. They were removed and the original were reinstalled. I went to Swift, the man just laughed and said the dealership was just trying to make money off me. I asked him to at least take back the speakers, he laughed again and said I won’t do anything for you at all. I feel it was their responsibility to make sure the equipment they sold me would be compatible at the very least. Instead it was a big joke and they didn’t want to discuss it further. I asked his name and he refused to give it to me. I’m really upset as to the treatment this company is doing to its customers,as I have seen a complaint from another unhappy customer.Business response

All our installs have a lifetime warranty and would he have called or emailed us we would have taken care of it. He never reached out to let us know what was going on and didn’t even give us a chance to rectify the issue or let us diagnose it with our equipment.. All our receipts say that we don’t do money back only I store credit. When my front office person asked “if he wanted a copy of the receipt” he said “he didn’t need it because he has the bank statement”. The dealership states that the speakers weren’t compatible with the vehicle because they don not understand the aftermarket audio industry. Our guys have more than 40 years combined of experience. My guy behind the counter did not have the need to give his name . I reviewed the video and he did nothing incorrect. This gentleman came in with the assumption that he was getting his money back. We stand behind our warranties and go above and beyond to make sure to offer customers the best service we can..Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: first, why would they let me leave their shop with their product not functioning correctly? Isn’t there any quality control? Second I’m a 75 year old man with little knowledge about what causes such strange noises. I do have their receipt and nowhere does it say exchanges or store credit only. I truly feel that my treatment was less than professional, as with the undercurrent of laughter and the immediate dismissal of my concerns. I feel that it was not my fault that their product was not compatible with my car from the outset, my request for a refund for the speakers was very minimal.
