              I enlisted Kev do to build a custom closure along with wood finishes in my trunk back in December of 2021. As of today he hasn't completed the work and refuses to provide a refund or deliver the fiberglass mold. This was an investment that I prepaid for to tune of $1,200. I have essentially been defrauded of that money. This project came with him incorrectly doing the first fiberglass application such that the chemicals would not dry and put fumes in my car for months. Since my car is my daily, I had a few ups and downs with my schedule that prevented me from leaving the car with Kev but I eventually was able to leave the care with him for days at a time. Understandably, he had changes in his schedule that prevented him from working on this project as well. I've still been able to leave the vehicle with him for here and there, however. I left the vehicle with him for several days at a time but nothing tangible was completed. At day's end, Kev was prepaid for a service he simply did not deliver and refuses to refund a portion of the $1200 I prepaid or even hand over the fiberglass mold for the enclosure which technically belongs to me. On Wednesday, April 6th, I followed up with Kev based on his promise to do the week the following weekend (Friday, April 8th through Sunday, April 10th). I told him then I that I would need the work completed or a refund issued for the $1200 I prepaid. From that point Kev behaved unprofessionally to the point of threats and profainity and refused to provide a refund. He has also posted erroneous information online about me to attach my reputation.

              Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2022/04/27) */ I don't know what else to say except the fact that I have pictures of work that I've done. We were completely on the same page the entire time throughout this entire deal that neither one of us have a written contract or agreement for. Also there is no proof anywhere that I was supposed to be doing any work for this man which is not my point of this conversation. My point is I have proof on my part of work that I've done for him and money that I've spent on his vehicle along with storing labor and material costs. This man is not entitled to any refund on my part. We were just about at the finish line to a project that was all paid up because he decided to send the last final payment after I asked him not to with all the work that I did and money that I spent. He's not entitled to a refund on my part. Also, as of now the man has a whole trunk full of sound deadener that I purchased and installed and as of this afternoon he has the material that was assembled for his vehicle. On my part This man is now threatening of lawyers and going to the BBB and reaching out to other personal people, friends and family on my part locally and spending a lot of time dragging my name through the mud for something that I am not wrong about. People know me and they know I spend too much time focusing on being honest and right with people for this to be happening. He's tarnishing my name for no reason and especially without having any proof. Again he has after this afternoon we'll have in his possession everything that was made on my part up until where we were at with the schedule. After all the threats that he has made. That's all he's getting out of me. Consumer Response /* (3000, 14, 2022/04/30) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) At no time was there a discussion of a written, contract. This person never offered one so I took him at his word. There was never any mention of storage costs either. This person gave me a flat price of $1200 to do the entire trunk and the enclosure. We later added the $175 for the sound deadener, which he applied. I do have all text messages and voice memos describing the work and what as promoside since December of 2021. I have also submitted the payments made to him via CashApp. All of these items are discoverable and encapsulate our agreement. This evidence will be submitted in court if this is not resolved. What this person has failed to communicate are his unscrupulous business practices. First, the application of the material for the enclosure was done incorrectly and had me riding around for weeks with fumes in my vehicle. I could not use my vehicle for work because of it. Secondly, at the time I gave this person the option of completing he work or providing a refund, this person then recanted on the project entirely. I then tried to work with him to give in more time still, but this person would hear nothing of it. This person then refused to provide a refund to any degree. Further more this person threatended to make sure that no one in the car customiztion industry in this town did any work on my car. He also posted misleading information regaring my characted on social media. This person is so unprofesisonal as made clear by the treatening texts and voice memos, which I have retained for evidence and further proceedings. What this person has not been clear about is that although he has provided the raw, unfinished enclosure through a mutal friend, he outright refused to provide anything that I paid for as part of our agreement. The enclosure mold he provided is not where close to the finishted work we agreed upon. He charged me $175 to the sound deadener, including labor. The remaining $1200 was to complete and finish the entrire trunk to include black-stained hardwoods throughout the trunk, pelxi glass over the enclosure, mounted subs (4) in the enclosure, and a mount for the amplifier. The only thing I received is the shell for the enclosure...nothing else. The only tangible item I received as a customer of this person is the sound deadener in the trunk. The enclosure he finally surrendered is not functional or usable. It is only a small piece of the unfinished project. What he gave me has been estimated at $350 for materials and labor by other shops that do this type of work. I received NO VALUE for the reamining $850 dollars I prepaid. I will not accept that I paid $1200 for a fiberglass enclosure mold that is estimated to be worth $350. His response is dismissive and less than honest, which is why it is completly unacceptable. If I do not receive a redund and public apologigy, I will have no choice but to take my evidence to my attorney for follow-up in small claims court. Proceedings will include issuing threats and defemation of character. Business Response /* (4000, 17, 2022/05/02) */ As of right now I'm not sure how to move forward with this. Like this man is now saying that he basically has nothing of value of the money he spent with me to do the project. He states that all he has is just a shell to the enclosure and as I stated before with our time frame the last piece of the puzzle was going to be put together that weekend that he was supposed to drop the car off before he changed his whole mind about me finishing the job and then went forward asking for a refund on the whole amount. The project was 90% finished. All I had to do was cut one piece of wood to the shape of his trunk floor and stain it. I explained to him I needed time for the stain and clear coat dry and that was too long for him. He had other appointments at other shops to do other work and he didn't like to answer that I had.. at this point with him stating the first part of the project that was done incorrectly, he is absolutely correct because that man rushed me and had me doing fiberglass work when it was about 26° outside and raining. So yes, the project at first failed and at that point I ate all of that failure and did not ask him for any more money or anything because he rushed me into doing the job incorrectly. At this point there was money spent twice on materials and there was work put in. There was hours spent. There was plenty of time spent on that vehicle to wear again. As stated, many of times before was almost finished. I even went so far as to through a mutual friend. Give him what was done to try to ease up the situation and I'm now being threatened about lawyers and again with this defamation of character I have the same messages he has. Yes, I very clearly left him a message on his voicemail stating to stop messing with me. Stop calling me. Stop harassing me. Stop texting me. I asked him very nicely multiple multiple times to leave me alone. I wasn't threatening him. I spent a lot of time doing what I was supposed to do for that man and now I'm spending a lot of time dealing with the situation I shouldn't have to. I'm losing out on family time. I'm losing out on business all for something that I was very, very honest and clear about the entire time until he changed this whole situation. And again the only thing I posted online clearly stated do not do work for this man and his vehicle. ******, he likes to play games. That's all I said. As of right now I've done what I could to try to resolve this situation. I guess I'll have to see this man in court. I have plenty of people that are going to show up for me to testify about the damage that he's done verbally around town. I've never denied one time. Anything about the money he sent me. I clearly stated that the final payments were requested to be kept until I was finished with the job and he did his own actions an sent the money ... And if there was any threatening tone with Mr. Sean, it was again because I asked repeatedly upon multiple upon multiple times for him to leave me alone. After things got sour We had an agreement. He was going to cut ties and come get the enclosure and he kept taking shots. He was then asked again to leave me alone and just continue on with what we agreed to and he kept on taking shots. That's why he ended up getting nothing out of me but I was adult about it and gave him the enclosure anyway and he still doing this
