On the dates of June 15th through June 17th of 2022 employees at ******** Transfer were at my home packing and loading my belongings for transport to Illinois. On June 17th they left a hole in my wall by mishandling my belongings. No one informed me that I could file a claim for at least reimbursement to repair it. They did not properly describe any of my household belongings on the inventory sheet but I was not shown the inventory until after half of our belongings were taken to the warehouse. Our belongings were carelessly packed which resulted in damaged goods. On July 7th I received the belongings at my location but at least 1/3 of my belongings were missing. I waited to go through my stuff and I realized I was miss a lot of large items but because the inventory sheet was poorly written, I couldn't be sure of what exactly was missing. I decided to contact ******** Transfer to see if they had any of our belongings still there. The woman on the phone was extremely rude and told me I was clearly calling the wrong place because they wouldn't have any more of our belongings because they had listed our belongings as delivered. I asked again for them to check and was rudely put on hold. I was then informed that they did in fact have 4 crates of our belongings in their warehouse. I still do not know the extent of the damage or missing items in the 2nd shipment.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/07/25) */ We were hired by ****************** moving to perform this members Origin services which is packing and loading on one of their trucks. The carrier ****************** sent in a truck that was too small to fit all of their household goods. We had to bring the remainder back to crate up for shipping. The Carrier coordinates the shipping of these. Their shipment went to a warehouse in Illinois for temporary storage therefore all the damages were not caused by our employees. The damage to the residence is unfortunate and accidents do happen. If we had known, we could have sent someone out for the repair. We would like to reimburse for any damage/time to repair what we caused. For the Inventory, I personally sent her copies of all the inventories for her household items. The labeling of items is procedure and these items were protected by wrapping. I have called and left a voicemail and waiting here call. Thanks Brady
