      I closed on my home November 2023 before it was completed. It is now August 2024 and my home is still unfinished. A bed door and wall were not installed until 6 months after closing with no explanation for the delay. It has been left incomplete and recently broke and is off its track. There are multiple punch-list items per the contract on which little or no progress has been made and workdates continue to be drawn out. Communication has been incredibly poor, timeframes have been unclear, deadlines are never met, and quality of work in often poor. There have also been no remedies doe their noncompliance. Work was stalled, without warning, for remaining balances given on short notice, and unrelated to the original contract/punch-list items, twice. This is despite the company having received full payment for the home for unfinished work on their end. I went as far as speaking with the owner of this company, which was very difficult to accomplish, and the issue is still not resolved. I have 8 months of emails and over 200 photos of poor/incomplete work. I am fighting for my home to be finished while watching this company build and complete other homes in my neighborhood.

      Cobblestone Builders completed the built my home in August 2022, and I had multiple structural issues with framing/flooring that have not been corrected. Additionally, I’ve had several other contractors come out to address the issue and it has been noted that there are major framing issues throughout the house. I have reached out to Cobblestone several times and they have attempted to put Band-Aids fixes on the issue that have not resolved the framing issues. At this point, I need this to be resolved and throughly investigated by an independent contractor/inspector due to the structural integrity of my house with the ongoing faulty framing. Additional breams are need in the basement to support the house is what is being recommended from the other independent contractors I have reached out to. Cobblestone is refusing to correct the issue and have told me that they have done all that they can do, even though this framing issue resulted from their faulty workmanship in building the house. I have asked that a building engineer come out to inspect the framing and recommend a resolution once and for all. Cobblestone has refused to get that done also. (Attached emails need to be forwarded. Please let me know who to forward them to.) Additionally, I have continuous water flowing from my sprinkler system when sprinklers are off (see attached picture). I reported this to Cobblestone in September 2022, and this has not been fixed. At the request of Cobblestone, I had another sprinkler repair company come out to resolve the issue and stated that a pressure controller should have been put on the system when it was originally installed. Cobblestone needs to correct this issue by adding the pressure controller to the sprinkler system.
