      In April 19, 2024, Craven HVAC was called to service an HVAC unit at my rental unit located at **** ********* ****, Johns Island, SC. The Kiawah Island Golf Resort manages the property. Here's the steps: -Craven put in 6 lbs of freon since unit seemed to be not working (you never just pump with freon and charge the customer - freon doesn't "disappear". I asked for him to refund this charge since he now problem solved and needed a new unit -Craven installed a new HVAC unit sometime between April 19 and 23, 2024. Heil 2Ton unit -The bill was a few dollars less than $5,000. Bill paid. -COMPLAINT: I've asked weekly since May, and also asked property manager to ask which she has (have email proof) to obtain documents on the unit and the warranty -Craven refuses to provide the paperwork and warranty info after nearly 4 months of requests

      This is being written in response to the complaint from ******* ******, who I am understanding is the homeowner of the unit we serviced for Kiawah Resort per this complaint.  Our billing and information all goes to the property resort management company.  We do not have or receive homeowner information.  All commercial properties, which includes rentals, get a 5 year automatic warranty on the condenser parts.  We do not have access to the roof codes at this time because they have changed and I cannot retrieve the serial number off of the part replaced. That being said the part still has a 5 year warranty from the date that we picked it up from the supply house when serviced.  The next time we are given access to the roof I will be glad to get the number in question.  If I can be of further assistance, please let me know.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      Craven must supply ***** ****** (************@kiawahresort.com) with paperwork on the unit, proof of warranty other than this response in the BBB file. Craven also can request access to roof code from same ***** ****** to satisfy my complaint. Ms C*****, as the property manager for me has requested same from Craven as me for 5 months now to no avail hence homeowner stepped in.
