I took my son ***** ********* to this office on 7/12/2023. I paid my insurance co pay upon arrival, after he was checked he needed an extraction and I paid the full amount using my credit card. I have dental insurance with Atena and they filed the claim and have been paid. Atena has tried to call them twice and I have attempted to reach them several times. Both myself and Atena were told that they don't handle refunds and they don't have a phone number for that department. I was told to send and email to "[email protected]", which I've sent several, still no response. My insurance has provided me the information that I'm owed a refund of $272, but it's been over 6 months and still no refund. Need help getting my refund.

On March 1st 2023 I went in for pain I had with a tooth. The total cost of the treatment I received was $1703 which includes an $95 xray fee. Of this total my insurance paid $1183 which includes the total $95 xray fee. Because they are out of network I was balance billed the remainder- $520. Which is fine. The problem is on the day of treatment I paid $975 on my credit card and $281.80 on my debit card for a total of $1256.80. Based on the payments received by my insurance plus my actual out of pocket costs I am due a refund of $736.80. I have went into the office twice over the past month. When I went on March 8th after receiving my EOB from my insurance- I was told the payment hadnt been received yet by my insurance and I would need to contact the office either by phone or coming in again in a couple weeks. Which I called and left voice-mail with no answer. So today Apr 3rd I went back into the office and spoke with a different lady at the desk. She tells me that the difference ($736.80) would be mailed to me. When I asked her how long she shrugged her shoulders. So I asked her for contact information to their billing department and she told me that she didn't have any of that information also. I then ask for a corporate number or email and she stated she was the only point of contact I had and that I could call her in a few MONTHS to see if the check had been mailed. I am requesting a supervisor or some sort of corporate personnel to contact me ASAP to discuss what is their refund policy and procedure? None of this information is available on their website and the lady at the front desk plus their "scheduling" department had NO answer. Hoping to get some here.

In July of 2022, I visited the West Columbia location of Emergency Dental Care USA. I paid to have a tooth extracted, but was told that it was too swollen to remove and to come back after taking a round of antibiotics. In the interim, I had the tooth removed elsewhere and asked for a refund. I was told at that time it would take 6 months to process my refund. Absolutely ridiculous. I waited 8 months and as of March 2023, I still have not received a refund for the work that was not performed. When I contact the office, I'm told they "will pass my message onto upper management". No one calls. When I attempt to call the corporate office, I'm given the runaround and different numbers to call. The last number I was given sent me directly to voicemail..

I paid $600 for my daughters to be pulled, I am still requesting an itemized bill. My daughter went in with my debit card and came out with no receipt showing what was done.

went to this place on June 6, 2022 due to pain that appeared to be a toothache. X-ray was done and the attending dentist said I needed a fill in the back of one of my top front teeth where the enamel thinned out. I paid $95 for the visit and $220.00 for the filling out of my own pocket. The next day the pain not only returned but the filling was too thick and it had my bite off. I called and was told the dentist wouldn't be back until Friday at 11:00. I went back and the dentist shaved down the filling but couldn't determine the root of the pain. I left and a few days later my face had swollen almost unrecognizable. Still having pain too. I went back to show my swollen face and inform them that the pain had gotten worse. The attending dentist wasn't there so another dentist took me back. He did X-ray but couldn't figure out what was really going on but told me that I probably needed a root canal. DUH! He gave me a referral but never offered antibiotics which is what I OBVIOUSLY needed so I asked if they were gonna give me a prescription for antibiotics otherwise I don't believe they would have offered. This was the WORST dental experience I have ever had. On top of this, my entire filling has come out! I want a FULL REFUND or I will pursue LEGAL COUNSEL!!

I have many complaints about this place but main ones are that one of the Dentists hurt the roof of my mouth during a procedure, I was asked to sign papers AFTER having a horrible tooth extraction experience and I was very numb and out of it, I paid for services during my official appointment that have not been performed yet and when I asked for a refund I got the run around and no one will call me to resolve this from the business office since the actual office cannot do this type of transaction, I had 2 of my front teeth extracted and have been without temporary or work done in 8 weeks, I was numbed to do a cleaning but to my knowledge that was never performed but I was charged for it, I paid for interim dentures for my front teeth while the rest of the work was being done and they are painful and I had to agree to extract 3 more roots in order for them to 'fit right' and they still don't. I have contacted the actual office many many many times and I finally received a call from Erica which is the person in charge of refunds but she insisted she would call me back with 'options' after I specifically told her I WANT MY MONEY BACK for the services that have not been completed yet and I have not heard from her since. I emailed the company to let them know of these issues and still I have no resolution. I don't know what to do but I am going 9 weeks now without front teeth and this was not the plan. I called the number back that called me from Erica but it just rings and rings and rings, no way to leave a voicemail or anything.
