    I hired Mr. Summers for a kitchen and bathroom remodel. When raising my concerns about substandard work, he did not deny it; he simply blamed it on myself, someone else, the materials, my "crooked walls". or my "floor to ceiling measurements". He created safety and quality of life concerns by leaving my front door and garage door open for extended periods of time, even while we weren't home. When confronted, he lied. He continued to leave both doors open afterwards (I have door sensors and cameras.) He stored equipment and trash in my home without my consent. He did it again after being asked not to. He arrived late, took an hour and a half lunch, and left early almost every day for 8 weeks. He only worked about 22.5 hrs a week and I was paying him weekly. He ruined an oven cabinet during modifications due to using a dull blade and incorrectly measured trim pieces that forced the seams apart. He ruined crown molding by performing poor corner cuts, and then tried to cover it with marker. The crown molding isn't touching my ceiling in certain places. He blamed the cabinet issues on me and the cabinet specialist. My entire shower floor needs to be redone because he didn't grade it correctly and water pools in the back of my shower. He installed my shower door crooked, blamed it on my "non-plumb" walls, and said I would need a custom cut of glass. It took me and a neighbor (not professional contractors) 1 hour to fix it based on the instructions that clearly state how to accommodate uneven walls. He ruined my kitchen mat and threw it in the trash pile hoping I wouldn't see it. He ruined my flower bed by sawing a cabinet next to it. He failed to protect my brand new kitchen tile. He painted over unfinished walls. None of the issues he used as an excuse for substandard work were brought to my attention before, during, or after he performed each part of the job. He waited for me to say something. He did not offer a single walkthrough or review of his work.

    Customer states I messed up the double oven cabinet,cabinets were made from factory that came from Lowe’s with special order color and can’t be cut and finished at a job site like finished from the factory and was designed to have a double oven only mounted.Customer already had a double oven and microwave purchased prior to getting the work done and demanded for the cabinet to be cut differently and if the customer would have demanded Lowe’s to furnish her a new one to the specifications of what she needs none of that work would have taken place,not excuses but facts.Customer states that the shower has wrong slope from my doings when the whole shower system is made and designed from Schluder/Kerdi shower systems and already has the slope designed and already there and only needs tile installed on it and is warrantied from factory.Customer states we only worked 3.5 hours a day and we whole days continuously.Customer lives at the residence and sees everything done every day and paid weekly for the work performed up to date.Customer was really dissatisfied with Lowe’s representative and the quality of the cabinets that I have no control of,Customer gave last check received on May 12,2023 in the amount of 5,000.00 that has never cleared the bank causing the bank to freeze my account until the check is made good,Why even give the check???
