I had Love Plumbing Air and Electrical come to my home to diagnose a problem with my furnace in the attic. The tech told me that the reason my collector box condensate trap was overflowing was due to my venting duct being metal and not completely pvc. The tech gave me a quote for $588. A sensor totaling $274 was also included in this quote bringing the total to $862. Turns out the Condensate trap was not installed properly.Business response

We did not do any work for Mr. *******. We were called out for an issue, we assessed the situation and simply gave him options. He only paid our fee to come to his home of 49.95. We stand behind our diagnosis and our Service Manager who is a licensed Heating and Air professional has reviewed the all of the pictures we took of his situation and supports the diagnosis of the technician. However, I am happy to refund Mr. ******* his 49.95.Customer response

On April 26, 2022 I entered into a yearly contract with Love's. In February2023 I wrote them an email stating I wished to cancel our contract at the end o our year April 26, 2023. They have since charged me two months may and June of this year. Repeated emails and phone calls have done nothing. They charge $16.96 per month. I have the emails but am not tech savvy. To send them to you my daughter will have to come over. Please helpBusiness response

We have no record of customer requesting to cancel account. I have canceled customer account and processed a refund of $84.75, refunding Feb, Mar, April, May and June 2023. Today is the first notice of cancellation we have received but will refund per customer's statement that she emailed in February.Customer response

Had called the company on February 1 of 2023 only for the master bathroom tub faucet leaking would not shut off. The technician gave me a price and a repair price. He comes back on 2 February, and had the wrong parts so he just used my old parts and thinks that the problem is fixed tell me why I paid 402.00 but no new parts, he said them parts was hard to find, he should’ve knew that the first day he come out. He also said must of my payment was service chargesBusiness response

Technician responded to a call from ****** ******** for a 20+ year old faucet that was broken, wouldn't turn off and according to customer may need to be replaced. Technician provided 2 upfront, no obligation options for 1) Shower Valve Repair @ $427.72 and 2) Shower Valve Replacement @ $2887.44. Customer chose Repair option and was advised that the technician would have to return the next day after finding parts to complete the repair. Technician spent 1hr45minutes on site conducting requested, approved repairs quoted at $427.72. Technician extended customer a $25 discount due to the fact that he had to leave and return the next day which was an inconvenience to the customer. Customer received an automatic survey in which she responded: I think I could’ve got to problem fixed the first day he come out since he was sent with the wrong part and I still had to pay full price with my old parts which 25 was knocked off but still a little pricey. Service Manager Jon Vermillion reached out to ****** ******** on 2/6 upon receipt of review to discuss service comments via email and by phone. No response from Dianne until BBB complaint received.
****** ******** states that her desired resolution of this complaint is a repair and Love Plumbing Air Electrical's standard 18-month warranty accommodates her request. We are happy to schedule a follow up visit with ****** ******** to ensure that the repair is done to her satisfaction.

I hired Love Plumbing Air and Electric to replace the drain system in my house. They did not connect the kitchen sink and it flooded my crawlspace with sewage for 4 months until I caught the problem. Now they are refusing to clean the sewage.Business response

Our customer service team worked with Mr. ****** for an equitable resolution that he accepted. Repairs were done and financial compensation was made to Mr. ******'s satisfaction. Mr. ****** signed a release accepting the financial compensation and repairs. Work is still warrantied .Customer response
