      Labor comes at well over $500.00 an hour. The owner avoids returning calls and their $39.95 service charge is a way to have their young inexperienced techs quote you $2149.00 for a repair to only come back in after starting the job within 15 minutes under the home to say it’s going to be $3100.00 no break down of parts are justifiable labor given. Keep in mind this is a 91 year old man’s and his 86 year old wife’s home. The young service tech (Family to Owner) used a tactical opportunity to take advantage of them. His repair procedure was just less than 6 hours including being off location for awhile. He never provided the estimate from the $39.95 inspection. He wanted to do the work that day $2149.00. We needed to determine if they had funds and sent him on the way with the $39.95 paid in full. My parents called back the next day to have the original estimate completed. Same young inexperience tech was available 2 days later. Wow great companies would be scheduled out. Let’s go back to $2149.00 15 min in he needs an additional $1000.00 bucks. Wait does ACE Plumbing claim Electronic leak detection is their specialty. Well JR must have forgotten to charge his leak detector batteries. He had been told to contact me on the initial $39.95 inspection to avoid my elderly parents not understanding or being ripped off. He did while on the first visit. Do you think he called me after starting the Job and wanting to charge an additional $1000.00 15 minutes after starting the job. NOPE My mother had no clue what was going on. JR did the job came back in said needed $250 more for a new leak. When he came back for that repair it did not exist. Now he found the leak in a different location $450 more. See the book in Google reviews for exact details. Owner of the company refuses to contact and discuss issues. $2750 later leak remains. Who runs a business on these terms? ACE Plumbing. The family wants ACE to do the right thing. Very little evidence support the tech is LLR licensed

      When we came out to this property the property owner approved the quote on the spot prior to us doing any work, they signed our estimate and a complete scope of work was given in detail before we started to make any repairs. Our technicians while young are still very knowledgeable in their field. The person leaving this complaint is not the property owner he is a family member who was not present during pricing or during the job itself so we did not work for him directly at all. We charge what we are worth and it is not charged per hour it is charged by material and labor costs. We did our absolute best to accommodate their needs and work thoroughly with the issue at hand. The owner did not get back to him due to being out of the office and simply could not return the call which he was informed of and harassed our office staff multiple times a day trying to reach the owner after being told he was not available. Even after work was completed both homeowners and their daughter were very pleased with our work and called us back out the following week for a separate job, he is the only one who has had any issue with us at all the rest of the family was very kind. He has continued to harass us on social media platforms as well and there's nothing further we can do for him, I am not sure what he really wants out of this considering he is not the homeowner nor the person who paid for the work.

      On 10/14/21 ACE plumbing sent a tech out to diagnose and repair a leak from. my tub that was damaging my ceiling. Initially I wasn't given a rate fee but when the tech came out he informed that the fee would be 389.00 and if the fix was more extensive, he would let me know how much more before he continued. The diagnosis was that the tub overflow needed a new gasket. I watched the tech take off the chrome plate, he then attempted to remove the rusty screws. He removed the 1st screw but when he got to the 2nd screw, it was hard to remove. So basically he gave up and decided to place silicone around the chrome plate to prevent leakage. Mind you, I don't call a plumbing company to tell me they can't do something, you figure it out. Afterwards he told me that if it leaks again call them back. I waited a day to use the tub but once we started using my tub again, it the ceiling began to leak again. So I called ACE plumbing again to have them send another tech out and Treena told me that another 389.00 would be expected. So, I said so basically yall just tool my money for no services rendered? I'll never call ACE again for anything. I personally was able to remove the screw and replace the gasket but my ceiling was leaking. I called another company out to take a look at it and they confirmed that the the issue was the bathtub drain. So ACE didn't take the time to correctly diagnose the issue. The other company charged me 400.00 but they actually fixed the problem. If at all possible, I would really appreciate at least 350.00 back.
