      My playset has been invaded by orange fungus that is damaging a support. I am concerned about the safety of the set. Can you please help?

      Hello! **** has been in contact with the ******* *********** in NH. Mark is providing **** with a quote for the item that needs to be replaced. It is my understanding that the fungus came from the leg being rotten and then applying a coat of stain over the rotting wood. Thanks!

      I am rejecting this response because: 

      The set was sealed and stained before the rot happened.  I noticed the rot and fungus just recently.   

      Yes, **** has told me that it will be nearly $500- to replace the fungus infested beam, but that seems a bit high for one beam.   I am concerned that the cross piece for this a frame will go next.  It doesn't seem right that just because the set was given to me that I have no recourse and have to pay five hundred dollars for 1 beam and another four hundred for a safety inspection.

      Hello, The customer is not the original purchaser of the swing set, as stated, it was gifted to her. Rainbow Play Systems, Inc. only offers warranty to the original purchaser. However, as stated, she can purchase parts through the distributor that is an independently owned company and sets their own pricing. Thanks!

      Hi I purchased my rainbow castle st in 2009. Immediately we begun having bee issues. I just learned to deal with the bees each year even though it guaranteed against the wood from having bee issues. My kids were terrified of them and it would take them weeks to start using it again. The system has aged it has been properly taken care of but a lot of the wood along the bottom has deteriorated and plastic coating on the metal parts has molded. We have called to try to exercise the warranty but my original receipt has faded. They won't let me exercise the warranty without it. That is fine I asked to have someone come out and evaluate the fixes for a price. They did not want to do that because they said a lot of the pieces were to expensive to replace an I will want exercise my warrant instead and should find the proof of purchase through other means e.g. electronic proof credit card and such. As it has been a very long time that is turning out to be impossible. I started this endeavor almost 2 years ago. I am now facing another season that the playground will not be used because of the customer service issues with this company. I would recommend people look for different play systems that truly keep away bees and that actually stand by their play systems for repair and services. They only care about the purchase and then do not even try to accommodate the existing customers. I have 4 children and they will have children I would not recommend they purchase from a different company. It's a shame because they are very nice.

Can you please let us know what distributor you purchased your swing set from, who you have been communicating with? As for the warranty, the warranty is valid to the original purchaser only. Without a copy of the invoice, or a bank statement/credit card statement we cannot proceed with the warranty. You can also call our customer service line at ************ for further assistance.       Moved not even a year old playscape. Damaged playscape horribly and not properly installed. Had a nail gashing through. Missing bolts, not leveled, bolts not screwed in securely. They replaced some boards and leveled. They verbally agreed to stain unit. It has been 5 months (several phone calls, messages, and emails- Still has a cracked board, missing bolts, not stained. Owner not calling me back. Horrible customer service!
