I purchased a 2007 Chrysler 300 from them on 11/10/2023. Which I later found out was a 2006 by my insurance company. When I purchased it, I had asked what was wrong with it. They stated that there was a hole in the exhaust which was under the drivers side and that they didn't know much else about the vehicle. I trusted them and purchased the vehicle. It had leaked a little bit of oil and I just chalked it up to the age of the vehicle. About 2-3 weeks later the fluid was pouring down my driveway. It was thick black sludge. I took it to get an oil change and they said they can't change it because the frame was pushed up into the oil filter and there was no way to get the oil filter out. So I contacted Rowdy River to file a complaint on 12/8. They said that it never leaked any fluids while on their lot. I said if you knew where the hole in the exhaust was you obviously knew the frame was bent and you still sold it to me! He said you waited a month to complain and there were no fluids leaking while here so I am not going to do anything about it. I said you don't get it. I'm not talking about the fluid leaking. I am talking about the frame being bent. They stopped responding. So I decided to reach out to the company they bought it from ******** **********) to see if they knew how the frame was bent. They stated that Rowdy River bought it on auction for $300. They didnt know anything about the vehicle other than they towed it because it was abandoned by Baltic SD. It was missing a wheel and a control arm was busted and they had no key. They gave me your information to file a complaint because they stated this company does this to people all the time and they get away with it. The car is completely broken down. It won't start. I am currently having a mechanic look at it to see how much it will cost to fix. But I just want my money back. No matter what, this company knew it was bent when they sold it to me.

This vehicle had around 239,000 miles on it and we sold it for $1200 to the consumer. We disclosed to this consumer that we didn't know anything about the vehicle, had not inspected it and that it had excessive miles. He test drove the vehicle and wanted to purchase it. He waited 3 weeks before reaching back out to us with issues. This vehicle was sold AS-IS, with no warranty, the consumer was aware of this and signed off on it. We will not be issuing a refund since the vehicle was sold AS-IS, no warranty.

Again, this was a high mileage vehicle purchase for $1200. The consumer had the opportunity to test drive the vehicle and after the test drive, wanted to purchase it. This vehicle had 239,000 miles, was sold AS-IS - with no warranty. The consumer was aware of this and signed off on it. We will not be issuing a refund since the vehicle was sold AS-IS, no warranty.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: I only signed the no warranty because we were not told about the bent frame in which the seller clearly knew about but did not disclose to me when asked. Again. We will be going to court and there will be additional charges added due to the vehicle not working properly so I had to rent a car to get me around while my main car was in the shop. The charges keep climbing. And I will also request attorney fees & court fees as well. I have a really good case in my favor.

      Sincerely,
