On 11/29/2022 I purchased a 2010 ***** ******* for $********* from PRIVATE STOCK OF RAPID CITY i* ***** ***** **. It was advertised on their website as "NEW ARRIVAL GOOD CONDITION..." When I purchased the vehicle I had thought I was purchasing a good, reliable, dependable, able to travel out of town vehicle that had no problem for the amount of money that I paid. When I took the vehicle for a test drive the check engine light came on so I let the car dealer know. The car dealer told me that the light was not on before and that he could scan it to see which code it was. The car dealer scanned it, looked on his computer, and informed me that it was an "easy fix" since the code that appeared was either a coil pack or spark plugs. He informed me that the part would cost $***-$***. In addition, he informed me that he could contact the person who he bought if from OR have his shop guy look at it. The car dealer cleared the code on the vehicle. The car dealer said "It is a good car and the coil pack or spark plug is an easy fix". Unfortunately, 3 weeks after I bought the vehicle the check engine light came on. I took it the an auto repair mechanic and he advised me that it has an internal engine problem. So, the vehicle is sitting parked and not being driven since the auto mechanic advised me not to drive it.
