First of all Hansen Buildings gave me a referral of a contractor they recommended to construct my pole barn and this said contractor required a down payment of $******* in which I paid to get him to the job site and proceeded to collect another $******* when he arrived with boots on the ground. Now being recommended by a reputable business like Hansen Buildings I fully trusted their recommendation. This said contractor was at the job site for 3 days without completing any work and on the 4th day packed up all his things and left without any services rendered. I tried to get my money back for three weeks, and finally was informed by Hansen Buildings that the said contractor filed bankruptcy. If a business like Hansen Buildings won't stand behind their referrals then they should not recommend anyone. Secondly I have many shortages on products that were delivered and never got any resolve. Always gave me some excuse, like it was my fault. I have had to buy somethings I already paid for once. I paid Hansen Pole Buildings for the barn materials and have been shorted lumber and other items. I had to purchase additional materials out of my own pocket to finish the project.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/09/20) */ Client ordered his post frame building kit from us and approved the Terms and Conditions January , 2021. Included within the Terms and Conditions he approved are the following excerpts: 1. GENERAL: This Agreement constitutes the only agreement between Hansen Pole Buildings, LLC (herein known as Seller) and Purchaser and supersedes all previous Agreements, conditions, contracts, designs, discussions, negotiations, quotations, plans, promises, representations, and/or terms on this sale either written or verbal. It is understood there are no oral or other agreements between Seller and Purchaser with regard to the subject of this Agreement which are not incorporated herein. The extent of Seller's obligation is covered in this Agreement and this Agreement only. This clause is not a mere recitation of fact, but is intended to be an absolute and binding acknowledgment of legal consequences. Sales and delivery of the materials/goods are made subject to the terms and conditions stated herein; any purchase order issued by purchaser does not change these terms. Purchaser grants Seller, without limitation, the right to utilize Purchaser and aforementioned improvements for advertising and promotional purposes. 2. SCOPE: Purchaser acknowledges the responsibility to read and understand fully all written and electronic information provided by Seller, including but not limited to any plans, Materials lists, Seller's Construction Manual, as well as and including inventory and inspection guidelines. 15. PURCHASER SUPPLIED LABOR/MATERIALS: Purchaser clearly understands Purchaser will under no circumstances be reimbursed for the purchase of any replacement materials for any reason (including suspected damage or shortage) without the prior written authorization of Seller, or Seller's suppliers. 23. INSPECTION/INVENTORY: Purchaser must inspect and inventory, at Purchaser's sole expense, all items delivered (including doors and accompanying hardware, each piece of lumber, siding or roofing, trims, etc., whether arriving individually, in sealed containers or unitized) and report, within 48 hours, any and all "hidden damage", missing or damaged goods, claimed nonconformity, defects or differences between the goods and materials described in the Agreement, or an approved Change Order, and as received by Purchaser. The ONLY method of reporting is through Seller's online account page, as Emailed or telephone reports cannot be accepted. All damage/unusable reports must include digital photos. Any materials reported by Purchaser and verified as being damaged or unusable within 48 hours after delivery can be exchanged at the supplier's location for a replacement with absolutely no charge to Purchaser. Any confirmed shortages reported within 48 hours after delivery will be delivered as quickly as is reasonably possible or Seller will arrange for Purchaser to "will call" at a location within vicinity of the site, either with no charge to Purchaser. At time of delivery, Purchaser must note any obvious shortage or damage on the bill(s) of lading. 31. EXCLUSIONS: Seller is not a contractor, architect or engineer in any state, and both parties agree no such representation has been made. Seller does not and cannot endorse, nor take responsibility for the performance of any contractor or laborer hired by you, even if the name was provided by Seller. Purchaser waives any and all right of claim against Seller for non-performance of any materials improperly installed by any contractor. Seller cannot predict nor guarantee any permit, construction or labor costs. On March 29, April 8, and April 20 client was sent emails to remind him of inventory policy and procedures. July 19 client reported by email he was shorted (2) LVLs, these were delivered the following day. July 26 client reported being shorted (25) 2x8x12' although only (21) such pieces were required by plans and shown on his Material Takeoff. The 21 pieces are shown by our vendor, Builders First Source as having been delivered in March. Vendor did provide a photo of delivered materials clearly showing the 21 pieces. In review of client supplied photos showing window openings from interior, significantly more material has been used for the framing of each window than what has been detailed on the engineer sealed building plans and in the Construction Manual. August 2 Client reported being shorted (6) pieces of solid soffit (1) piece of vented soffit. Justine confirmed same day he was shorted a sheet of solid soffit and it was ordered (and has been delivered), vented soffit was not shorted. In summation - all materials required for construction of client's building per our agreement, engineer sealed plans and Material Takeoff have been delivered. Client clearly understood the terms of his agreement with us, and the responsibilities of any agreement he made with a builder are his and his alone.
