A used vehicle was bought from Billion ***** jeep Chrysler **** ****** ** ***** ***** on April 6th 2023. We liked the vehicle such as price and mileage. But was told that the keys were unavailable to drive it at the time. The windshield was cracked and a small dent was told to us needed to be replaced. It shouldn't take long to do was told to us. About two weeks later salesperson called and stated there was an insurance claim on the vehicle before anything can done further. About another week later salesperson called the consumer that the check engine light came on and would need to replace the engine since there was an insurance claim on the vehicle. It is now May 24th and still no car. But we put $**** down on the car. Our first payment is due May 30th but we still have never received the car. I did not feel I should make a payment before I have ever driven or received the car at all. How was the insurance claim never told to us before then? Why did they have the car on the market before it was ready to sell? Unhappy consumer...

Called the service department at Billion and that I should call back after the memorial day weekend. I texted the salesperson who sold us the car and he told us the main tech was sick and has been for a few days. It will now later this week. Our first payment on the vehicle is due and We do not wish to pay for something we have not received.

Picked up 2015 jeep ******** today. Car was filthy inside definitely not cleaned before giving to us. Radio was turning off and on about 8 times during 15 minutes drive home. Dent was still present on the driver side front end. Tags expired 5/30/23. They couldn't give us extended tags? Very disappointed and unhappy. Will probably need to return car tomorrow 6/2/23 due to Dent and radio issue.

Responding to complaint ID number *********

Sharyn bought a vehicle from us and it ended up needing the a motor which was covered at no charge to customer. Customer no longer wants vehicle do to it taking about 45 days to get motor replaced. As I type this letter the customer is in the store. We are cancelling the contract with her and getting her into a different vehicle.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: The customer did not reject the car because it took 48 days. The customer rejected the car because it didn't run well after 48 days, the customer felt unsafe, lied to and disrespected during this entire process. The Jeep should have never been on the lot. It was in a car accident prior and this was never disclosed to the customer in the first place. The Jeep was to be used for driving children around and a family vehicle. There was nothing safe about it. Yes, I found a new vehicle in light of the situation,  but I do not feel this satisfies all my frustration and disrespect I had during this process. There was holes in stories, no one returning customer calls after leaving many messages. It is very unexceptable PR.

      Sincerely,

      Sharyn *****

The vehicle was involved in a accident and fixed cosmetically as insurance provided the repairs. Everything was said to be good to go so we sold the vehicle. When then found out it was not running right and had to get ahold of insurance and get them to pay for a new motor since it was damaged in the accident. That took awhile for insurance to come through give the ok to proceed. We then had to wait for a motor to be put in. Once that was all done the customer picked up the new vehicle. During that time she was provided a loaner vehicle. We did have to call her and have her change out of the vehicle a few times as other customers wanted to buy the one they where in. The customer was in the vehicle she purchased for a short amount of time and it gave her some issues. The biggest issue was the radio would randomly stop working. Customer came in and requested to trade out of the vehicle which we did. The jeep she traded back into us which we gave her full asking price for has now had the radio reprogramed and no other issues have came up with the vehicle. The vehicle she bought was a safe and reliable vehicle but the radio was not operating correctly. Once again we got the customer out of the vehicle she felt unsafe in because of the radio and got her into a different vehicle. As for her feeling unsafe, lied to, and disrespected that is a assumption. We apologize that the vehicle took so long to get fixed but we have no control over that. Once again, we did everything we could and got her out of the vehicle that the radio was not working properly in. The customer no longer owns the vehicle that she is reporting us on. We did everything we good and took the customer out of what she felt was unsafe and put her into a vehicle that she picked out.
