I have had an overwhelmingly negative experience working with this company. Several years back, they had mishandled personal information that led to the loss of customer funds. As a result of this, I pulled all of my funds from IRA Financial Trust and moved it elsewhere. While I have no money with this firm, I have still been charged a service fee that has now been sent to collections. I requested a closure of my account two years ago and have not had any money there. So why am I being charged a fee? What service was provided that warrants the annual fee? I would not recommend working with this firm given how they have handled this situation.Review from Charles T

Have had a self-directed Roth IRA with IRA Financial for almost two years. Haven't had any noticeable issues so far. Customer service using email has been prompt with accurate and usable information when needed. My experience has been fine and I would recommend them to anyone after YOU do your own research and comparisons to make sure this is the service you are looking for.

IRA Financial is holding my money hostage (as others have mentioned before me). Once they got my money, IRA Financial decided it wants to charge me a huge additional fee never mentioned before in cost discussions. The fee is to link my IRA Financial account to my legally-formed LLC. This doesn't require any forms, any signatures, any legal setup, any changes to operating agreements, or any other work from IRA Financial. All legal documents already correctly link the account to the LLC. This fee wasn't ever communicated until my IRA funds arrived in my IRA Financial account.IRA Financial Trust Company Response

The response from the business is simply false. I was charged not a $600 additional fee, but a $799 fee instead. Charge was made to my credit card on 5/9. No notification or receipt was provided. An IRA Financial representative , Nick, had indicated they would waive the fee, but they promptly charged me the fee once I provided my credit card number for a maintenance charge.IRA Financial Trust Company Response

Upon further review, we stand corrected. Our June 3rd reply was sent after reviewing the wrong account. It would appear that you were having trouble with your wife's account. We have corrected our error and refunded fees that were not supposed to be charged. We appreciate your business and hope that you will contact us directly should you have any other concerns.
