    On July 14 ,2023 I went to Sioux Falls SD which is 176 miles from my home town ***** ***** *** * purchased a used 2013 Dodge Dart for $4,500 from Autoland in Sioux Falls. The vehicle was sold “as is” . I stopped at a gas station immediately after I left the lot and I put checked all my fluids and I filled my gas tank which my mom has a video of me doing so. My mother and I preceded home on interstate I90 and we made it as far as Hartford which is 11miles from Sioux Falls and the vehicle quit on us and lost power. We called the salesman ***** who sold us the car and he called a tow truck to come tow it back to their dealership. I had to find a way home from there and leave my car. They called me the Following Monday and told me that there was a blown head gasket and needed a new motor. Autoland doesn’t not want to pay to get it fixed , they don’t want to refund my money. They offered me a used 2013 Chevy Cruz but also wants a extra $1,700 for it. Or I could wait for them to get another vehicle in to give me for the same value as the one I purchased.

    Mid December of 2023 my son bought a truck from Justin at Autoland. The truck had an issue with the gas tank. It took Autoland over 4 weeks to fix. After driving the vehicle for 8 days the fuel pump started to fail. The truck was taken to Autoland and was traded in for 2020 Ram 1500 with around 56k miles. The day after it was bought there was a waring message that came across the dashboard the coincides with the damage underneath. This was brought to Justin's attention and we have proof of that. After 3 weeks we received a some snow and ice it was found the 4 wheel drive wasn't working. Truck was taken back to Autoland to get looked at. The vehicle supposedly had a warranty so it was taken by Autoland to Billion Dodge in Sioux Falls. Billion Dodge checked out the truck and found it was packed with mud and the transfer case had a hole in it. Billion Dodge stated they could not honor the warranty because of the damage was considered abuse. The vehicle was only driven 3 weeks. It took over a week to talk to the person in charge at Autoland. Autoland stated that there service tech went thru the vehicle and found no issues. Billion Dodge told me there was no way with that much damage that it was caused in the 3 weeks we had it. There was so much mud and rocks. We live in northern SD and it was so cold and everything frozen it wasnt possible to get packed with mud. I relayed that to Autoland they proceeded to deny any and everything I said. Salesperson Justin started texting me pictures of the first truck we bought with dust on the exterior. I was then told that there was no issue with the fuel pump and I costed Autoland money because of it. Also was told that an intermittent light doesnt mean anything even if it was showing after the day it was bought. The best Autoland would do was to charge $3,700 to fix it compared to Billions $4,600. Dealing with Autoland and the way they choose to conduct business is the reason auto dealers get a bad name!
