I was looking at purchasing a 2013 ************ and got approved for financing. The financing manager Kirk ********* was adamant that the lender 100% absolutely required me to have a 36 month 3 year warranty or they wouldn't finance me. I thought there was something wrong with this and after further investigation I find out this is illegal and warranties are a backend product and a lender or dealer can't require you to have a warranty. Well after finding out about this I contacted the manager Dave and let him know I wasn't going to be purchasing a car from them. Since then I have gotten 3 letters declining me for financing from them. So to punish me for leaving a bad review they keep running my credit trying to ruin it. I've already contacted Dave the manager and and told them if this continues I will press charges for fraud.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/03/11) */ On 12/27/2021 we received a lead and finance application from Mr. ******. On 12/29/2021 Mr. ****** signed all necessary paperwork VIA ******** to purchase a 2013 ************. On 1/03/2022 Mr. ****** reached out to his salesman saying he was not comfortable with the purchase so Frankman Motor Company unwound the purchase. The Sales Manager reached out to Mr. ****** on 1/03/2022. He asked if we could talk on 1/04/2022 instead because of time constraints, We respected his wishes and tried to call him on 1/04/2022 but did not get a response. Our Sales Management team wanted to explain how our process works and to listen to any questions, concerns or complaints Mr. ****** had. Frankman Motor Company only pulls credit one time on each customer through 1 of the following credit services: (Equifax, Experion or Trans-union) our Finance Manager then determines which banks would be the best to submit a financial application to so that our customers would not only get approved but also get the best interest rate possible. We were able to get Mr. ****** approved with a very good interest rate and recommended a Extended service contract to protect his investment because of the age and extreme cost of repairs on *********. Mr. ****** received 3 letters from the 3 banks he was denied at per compliance the banks have to follow to inform a customer of why they were denied a loan with that bank. (each bank pulls credit also) Frankman Motor Company only pulls credit 1 time with every customer in need of financing and only pulled Mr. ******** credit 1 time. The banks can send those denial letters out weeks after they pulled credit.
