On 12/29/23 I purchased what was advertised as a "Bunion Corrector" with a rotating dial on the Homelae .com website, which was linked to from an ad on *********. I followed the ********* link showing a product with a rotating dial to actively correct a bunion. Their refund policy states there is a 30 day return policy; a return shipping label will be sent for returns and refunds if requested within 30 days of receiving the product; if accepted you're refunded in 10 days to your original payment method. My order was #***** and I was charged $29.98 on my credit card 12/29/24, received the product on 1/14/24. I quickly realized it wasn't the product advertised as it has no rotating dial to actively correct the bunion, it's just a brace. I promptly emailed the company on 1/22/23 at ******************* like their refund/return policy stated requesting a refund due to not receiving the product that was advertised. I also stated that the product did not fit my foot and was very uncomfortable. I received an email back from them on 1/23/24 where they offered me a $10 partial refund for the order and told me I could keep the product. I emailed back and forth with them a few more times asking why I couldn't have a full refund due to false advertising of the product, it not fitting me, and it being terribly uncomfortable. I was then emailed back and told I could return it to them but that despite their return policy stating so, they don't provide prepaid shipping labels for return orders because they provide free shipping of the product initially. When I responded that their own return policy online stated they provided free return shipping labels, but I would pay the shipping, and asked for confirmation that I would get a full refund back to my original payment method since I requested a refund well within the 30 days of receiving the product, I never got a response. They started ignoring my emails on 2/6/24 despite me sending many follow-up emails asking for a response.
