      The problem started on 4/15/24. A heating coil needed to be replaced. This took 3 days to complete the job with the first 2 days not ending until 10 & 10:30 at night. The first 2 technicians were rude not speaking when greeted & no explanation of what was taking so long. Upon contacting the company my husband (*****) received tons of ******************* would be out to repair the damage to the bedroom ceiling. This was supposed to have been a simple paint job plus a refund of $250.00 for our trouble.I took over the process of trying to get the issue resolved on 5/14/24 without success. I have been communicating with ****** (supposedly a manager) through text messaging. ****** was trying to schedule someone named **** to paint the small area but he was busy on another job.I suggested to her to give me an additional $50 for a total of $300. & we would call it even. She was in agreement with this offer in which I was expecting a check in the mail on 6/7. It is now 6/14 & still no check. I called ****** today at ************. Time was 1:32 pm to let her know I haven't received a check. She was going to check on this right away & give me a call back. It's now 2:38 pm without a response. I hope you will have better luck dealing with this company & getting a total refund of $666 for **** have text messages & a picture but don't know how to upload them. Thanks in advance for your help.

      I had the misfortune of dealing with Jack and Rapid Response several times over the last year or so. They were hired by the former owner's of the house we purchased to inspect and service the HVAC systems before we bought the house. The quality (or lack thereof) of the work notwithstanding, we discovered that dealing with Jack and Rapid Response as very unpleasant. I'm sure the former owner's just searched for the cheapest and quickest minimally competent service company to check the box on our repair request, and to Jack's credit, he did inform them that the units were in need of a full replacement. This was not communicated to us, and once we discovered this, I reached out to Jack immediately. The first conversation I had with Jack went well enough. He immediately threw the old owner's under the bus and verbally agreed to give us the information we needed. After that, he stopped answering phone calls and emails for about a month. Once we were finally able to get in touch with him again, he agreed to sign and notarize an affidavit acknowledging what had happened. It took another month to finally get back in touch with him. At this point he even agreed to testify in court on our behalf if we waited until later in the year when the temperatures would begin to cool down. So we pushed back our lawsuit to suit his schedule, and once again he ghosted us. He stopped responding to phone calls and emails, and we eventually had to subpoena him to ensure he would show up to court like he had agreed to. Once the court date arrived, he was there. My wife went out of her way to speak to Jack and thank him for coming, and he was rude and dismissive. This review is not a reflection of the quality of work that Rapid Response performs (although when we hired our own HVAC company, there were some discrepancies in the work that had supposedly already been done). This is a review on how difficult they are to deal with and how unresponsive they are.
