I scheduled an appointment with a loaner vehicle to be picked up while my car was to be serviced. After checking me in, the service representative Brad C****** told me that I did not have an appointment. After showing him the notification reminder that BMW sent me via text, he told me that I had no loaner scheduled. We argued loudly in the presence of other customers and employees. I asked to speak with the manager. He yelled out that I could speak with the manager when he’s not busy. After waiting 20-30 minutes to speak with the manager, I left and called their corporate office to file a complaint. After leaving the dealership, the manager finally called and told me that I did have an appointment and a loaner scheduled and if I returned to the dealership he’d rectify the situation. However, he stated that he could not do anything about the mistreatment that I experienced. Initially, I agreed to come back but kept thinking about the manager’s position of not being able to do anything about the mistreatment I experienced. As an African American, I have been down this road a time or two, and opted not to return to this dealership again. This dealership is a horrible reflection of BMW. They want our money but do not want to treat us with the same dignity and respect as their other customers.Review from Dan B

I purchased a used vehicle from this dealership, and 3 or 4 days later the check engine light came on. I had it checked out by a local mechanic, and it turned out to be a minor repair. I reported it to the sales person who sold me the car, and he spoke with the sales manager. I was told that even though it was an "as is" purchase, that they would cover the cost of the repair. The local mechanic completed the repair, whom I paid with a personal check. I turned in the receipt for the repair to the sales person who I had been dealing with, and was told it would be submitted to accounting. That was almost 3 weeks ago. I have yet to receive a reimbursement check from BMW of Nashville, and now the sales person is not responding to me. They have lost any possible future business that I would have done with them. At this point, my shadow and their dealership will never cross paths again.Review from Willie W

Took BMW for main fuel pump problem. It had several codes and took it for a diagnostic. They came back with stating I had a major oil leak, playing guessing games about what was wrong with it. Tried to throw parts on it at my expense. This was supposed to be a 5 points inspection but they had no idea what was going on with my car. Went to pick up my car they misplaced my keys for two days. They dissemble parts off my engine and did not put them back on. They would not deliver the parts back to me where I had to taken my car they refused to provide any customer service due to the problems they put me threw. They would not return my phone calls until finally I had to go pick up my parts myself because they refused and the parts should have been placed back on my car but they did not. They refused to put my car parts back on r because I cancelled my work order because of their lies. JB H***** service tech and Michael is the manager did nothing to provide customer service and they lied and sent me pictures of oil leaks from another car acting like it was mine but I did not have an oil leak when I took my vehicle there. I finally had to take my vehicle to another agency and they told me I had not oil leak. Do no take your vehicle if you want honest service and they job done correctly. I would give them no stars but to give this review I give them the lowest I can give. The location I went to was BMW of Nashville - Nashville Service & Repair Facility 4040 Armory Oaks Dr, Nashville, TN 37204.Review from Kris D

As a decade-long BMW owner, having purchased and serviced in several states, I was shocked when I realized how deceptive the business practices are at the Armory store. I brought my X3 in to be looked at after a minor collision with highway debris, the vehicle had 13,000 miles on it at the time, and I was its first owner. It had been several days since I'd heard from the service advisor so I began calling the store in search of management. Several times a day. Not only was I unable to reach anyone but then the service advisor I was dealing with began texting me that the vehicle was unsafe to drive unless I purchased a set of new tires. Mind you, the alignment and undercarriage had suffered damage during the collision but I had been driving the vehicle for weeks since then without issue. When insurance wouldn't approve the tire purchase, and I told him I was uninterested in new tires he told me there was a part on "backorder" and it would be months before the part arrived. When I asked to retrieve my car, the rep told me again even his techs wouldnt drive it because it was so unsafe. And again insisted I purchase tires. In all my years dealing with BMW I'd come to expect that yes, they're automotive retail workers, but I'd never been blatantly lied to and coerced like this. A month and a half had gone by and I still had no idea what was going on, no rental, and no contact from management. So I emailed the corporate office at Sonic out of desperation "can someone please help me figure out what is going on with my car?" Within a week, a rep contacted me and said "sure you can have your car, it's perfectly safe to drive!" Then found the "backordered part" at another dealership, installed it and returned the vehicle. I have tried in earnest several times via phone calls to resolve this issue with management. The service manager insisted that it was my fault that my X3 sat on his lot for 3 months, and that I should have done more to ensure the repairs were completed.Review from Dave M

I purchased an SUV from the Armory Drive location in early March. It's now middle of June and I still don't have my vehicle license plate. I was given 2 temp tags (both expired), then given a dealer plate which expired on May 31st. I've called and left voice mails for sales managers, general managers, the business office and the title department. No one calls back, and the person I did speak with who said they'd overnight me a new plate hasn't sent the plate and didn't answer when I called. This place is outrageous and I highly recommend to not do business with them.Review from Troy M

I am reporting this today regarding the BMW of Brentwood/Nashville. I helped my son purchase a used car from BMW of Brentwood back on February 5. The salesman and the finance guy were highly shady. I should've expected this, but I thought it was 2022; maybe people are better. But I have a very long list of complaints and why you should never purchase a used car or even probably a new car from this location. My son and I walked in and found a vehicle that he wanted to get financed, and this is where things started getting bad. The day after we investigated it, we noticed they overcharged us over $800, stating that they had to increase the car to get it financed. I've never in 1 million years heard that, and if it is true, that's insane. Secondly, they charged me for a new set of tags that I repeatedly told them I did not need; we were going to transfer the title over to the new car. So I proceeded to visit the sales rep and the finance guy the next day, and this is how they explained that all to me. They told me that the refund would be in the mail for the tags, and they were very apologetic regarding the issue of increasing the car by $800 to get it financed. And then I just got a phone call from *********** just now for the interior protection for all other used vehicles that you can buy that helps protect anything inside the car with any rips or tears on the seats. So now the permit plate is stating that the coverage will not cover my sons' car. I will never recommend a car company like this. I had a much better experience purchasing The two brand-new ****** with no issues. Stay completely away from BMW Brentwood/Nashville unless you want to be scammed.Review from Tenika P

Terrible customer service/ response to my needs. I have been a loyal customer for over 5 years despite the service departments lack of accessibility and follow up. I have requested orders for parts that don't get put in when I originally requested them and had to go through the process of having a completely different person try to find out what happened only to be told that the part was never ordered. None of their service advisors answer the phone or follow up when you leave voicemails regarding your vehicle. I know that if I need help with anything that I am better off making the drive to the dealership versus calling-- just to get there and have people on the service team look at me as though I don't belong there, give me attitude, or ignore me all together. They always blame their lack of accountability on being "busy". But ther has been numerous times where I have pulled into the shop and see people standing or walking around NOT helping clients. I have tolerated their lack of professionalism until now because I understand that things can slip through the cracks but this is a reoccurring issue that needs to be addressed. The amount I pay for my vehicle is not reflected in the service I get from this establishment.Review from Jaquisha H

Bought a *** from here and it had the check engine light on as I left and was told to bring it back if its still on by that next monday. Was also told that oul change and everything was performed before purchasing.Called to bring it back and was told to just take it to *** . *** adviced that vehicle needed oil change , new tires , and transmission was about to go out. So now im without a vehicle after a week of just getting it and the only thing covered under warranty was the transmission replacement.Review from Daniel k

Victoria M**** helped me and my brother with 2 custom build M3 comps! Pricing was best in the country, and there were absolutely no games! Victoria updated us every step of the way, from when the builds went into production, got on the boat, arrived at the port, and arrived at the dealership. It was an amazing experience, and we got to enjoy Nashville for the day as well! Matt M***** , the sales manager, whom we originally spoke with about getting the cars, is a straight shooter and extremely cordial over the phone when we first started. When we we finalized paperwork a few days before arriving, Omar N*****, the finance manager, was also super helpful and courteous. Thank you Victoria, Matt, and Omar on an amazing buying experience! And yes, you're all correct...skyscraper grey is a much better color than that ugly brooklyn grey!Review from Jessie Z

Do Not Buy a BMW or have it serviced with BMW of Nashville. This is not a trustworthy dealership and they do not stand behind their work. After buying my 2012 BWM X5 from them and having it serviced there exclusively to the tune of more than $30,000 over the years, it suddenly died while my son was driving it 2.5 hours away from Nashville... only 1500 miles after I had spent yet another $5,000 to have it serviced at BMW of Nashville and thought it was in great condition. They told me that it is my problem since the car had more than 170,000 miles on it; note the mileage was never an issue when they were telling me what repairs should be done to maintain it. Apparently, BMWs cannot last more than 170,000 miles regardless of the care you take of it. I had already bought a new BMW X5 before this happened, and this is how BMW of Nashville treats a top customer. I now have a dead car that is suddenly worthless and a dealership who pocketed the money to have it serviced there and does not stand behind their work or the vehicle itself. Do not listen to BMW of North America's false commentary on its website that the dealer is the BMW expert and the best place to have your BMW serviced. Do not buy a BMW; it is not a reliable car.
