approximately 1 month ago i hired American pool tech in the Brighton Tn location to clean my pool. They said sure we can clean it. they dumped 25 lbs of shock, 32 oz of algaecide and 15 lbs of sodium bicarb in my pool and said that they would have it right with-in 2 days. approximately 8 days later they haven't vacuumed the pool and it was worse than it was in the beginning. Finally i told them not to come back because they were not doing what they said and kept me hanging on. I had to hire someone else to clean my pool because all the chemicals just sat on bottom of pool and never dissolved But they did in fact charge my credit card for $326.00, i guess for the chemicals because they did nothing else. Even if they dont refund my money i feel that i needed to write this review so no one else will get ripped off by these incompetent peopleBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2021/09/09) */ I am sorry to hear you were dissatisfied with your service. I did see an email that you sent in response to the paid receipt emailed where you stated that you were happy with the services so far and requested additional services once the chemicals circulated. In this email it looks as though you assumed we decided to balance the water free of charge. About 10 minutes later we received a second email stating that you then realized your error and that you were charged and said "I guess I don't need your services anymore." We did not schedule anyone to vacuum because we were told not to in the email. I spoke to our weekly service manager to discuss what happened with your pool service to see where an error was made with the actual service. He let me know he dropped it out, added chemicals, and came back a few times to check on it. The last day he came he said the homeowner was present and was nice, not upset, and joking around with him. It looks like the issue here is not with the service, but instead the billing department and for that I apologize. I am happy to process a refund so that we can move past the issue with a hopefully satisfied customer. I apologize for any frustrations and hope my response and refund is received well. THE MAIN ISSUES HERE IS NO COMMUNICATION AND TIME FOR SERVICE TO BE COMPLETED. I WAS TOLD A COUPLE OF DAYS AND THIS DRAGGED OUT FOR SEVERAL DAYS . APROXIMATELY 10. MONEY IS NOT THE REAL ISSUE HERE. I JUST WANTED MY POOL CLEANED AND PREFERRED IT BE DONE WITHIN THE TIME FRAME QUOTED. IT WAS NOT.
