The dealer sold a car that had known blown head gaskets. Within 1 day of driving the car the thermostat went high and car started overheating. Upon being check at dealership, coolant was found in engine and oil in radiator.

In response to accusations I offer the following details that have been omitted. Bella, along with her husband and father in law, came by my lot one afternoon looking for a vehicle that we had advertised. The vehicle they were looking for had been sold but they spotted a Hyundai Santa Fe that had just been delivered by Abingdon Auto
which had been purchased earlier that day. They asked to drive the vehicle which I obliged. Upon returning from their drive father in law asked about pricing—stressing how that had been looking and were on need of a vehicle.
I first gave an offer which included a 90 day motor/transmission warranty, which is customary with all vehicles at asking price. They said they could not not do that , at that point I gave them an option to purchase the vehicle “ AS IS” with no warranty for anything. It was known to them that the vehicle was just received that day and explained AGAIN that no warranty was given. As usual with “ as is” purchases I had them sign in two different spots confirming their decision to purchase  “as us”. The father in law seemed to be some type expert and was in control of the conversation on their end. I received a call from the father in law saying the car had over heated but he was not sure what was wrong with it. I heard nothing further until this letter. If they had taken the offer with warranty the head gasket would have been covered. The difference in price paid was **** vs price with warranty. I can’t be held responsible for decisions made by others when everything was presented and explained in detail. I will not have any further dealings with Mrs

****** unless she continues to publicly slander my name/ business reputation, at which point I will have no choice but to pursue legal charges for slander/lieber. Please let me know if you would like any/all of the paperwork involved.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/10/25) */ Mike Wright says, "The customer has a warranty in effect covering the transmission. The customer refuses to follow that company's procedures. The customer signed an AS IS AGREEMENT for this vehicle with West Bristol Used Cars. The complaint is actually against the warranty company."

Then proceed to tell me theirs is nothing they can do, and messaged obscenities and hateful swearing this business is totally unprofessional and very dishonest.

Owner of car lot advertised the car as a "no issue" car and has also advertised as "warranty included". Upon purchasing the used car, I was if I wanted the warranty included at $200 despite advertising that it was already included at no cost. Car has issue that almost caused a MVA (leak in power steering fluid) with minors in the car. Owner was texted about the problem, no help offered and owner cussed me.

Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2022/03/11) */ In response to the issue I state the following: the vehicle was advertised with a 90 day motor/transmission warranty. Customer drove the vehicle and made offer to buy "As Is" if the price was adjusted. Gave her "As Is" price and she signed the enclosed "As Is"-sold without warranty!" When a power steering hose came off she accused me of knowing about a hose up inside the engine having an issue, even is she had purchased with warranty, it would not have been covered since it was not related to engine or transmission issue, she was offered a warranty more than once, but was just interested in "lowest price possible" I do not deal in vehicles with issues and always include 90- day motor/transmission at sticker price. She made a decision and later regretted it. She is no longer permitted on this property and has been banned on social media that relates to West Bristol Used Cars. I will not tolerate customers who make up false accusations and play the victim. I work hard to provide dependable vehicles. It would have been handled differently if she had called and discussed the issue-she chose to get on google and write false review. I am looking into slander/libel charges on her. I have no time to waste on this b.s. The vehicle was advertised for $4,695 which would have included a 90 day motor/transmission warranty. Said she "didn't have much money" and wanted "lowest price possible! I offered to sell the vehicle "As Is" for $4,400 which gladly accepted. Keep in mind the vehicle in question was 19 yr. old with 158K miles. I do not want or need customers such as this. Needs to grow up and take responsibility for her action. Also got a visit from her dad the next day and he agreed with above statement and said she had not told the truth about how the events unfolded to him. Nothing else to say about this complete waste of time, except to say that I am looking into my own legal actions regarding slander/libel.
