On April 16, 2024, my husband and I purchased a vehicle from Bristol Chevrolet. I did not want to make a deal for the longest time, and they threw their sales pitches for days. One of the agreements was 90 days of no payment, which is what sold me. I knew I could pay a couple things off and free up money in that amount of time to help us afford the payment. This agreement was told to us by at least two different people at the dealership. However, that is not what was put in the contract, and now my payment is apparently past due. I know we are liable for signing the papers, but I do not know any person that would ever read all of that paperwork. When trying to get it straightened out with the finance manager, we were told there was "nothing they could do now". I know the company has to have something in place that they can do when their employees make a mistake. Apparently, no return policy is offered, either. I feel like we've been done dirty, and it should be corrected.

I was sent a letter from ******* ******* **** from Bristol Chevrolet. I called the number the guy was very unprofessional and hung up. He then called back from his cell phone and stated he ran my credit. This without my permission. I tried to call the business and talk to the manager. The person whom answers stated he doesn’t have time for my concerns.

I went to the business cause they were running an ad stating your job is your credit. And never said anything about running your credit either. Well I get to the dealership and they ran my credit and then said they couldn’t help me. I have screenshots of the false advertisement ads they were running on Facebook. Even have messages from them stating that credit didn’t hold much weight. All you needed is income, residency and id

I traded my truck for a Jeep Renegade from this place I had a tool box in the truck with my personal belongings in it and I told them the tool box did not go with the trade the sales said that’s fine we will take it out and you can come back and get it. So it was a week and 3 days before I could get back down there to get it I called the salesman I dealt with and he said yeah it’s there come in and get I make a hour and half drive to pick it up get there and it’s not there come to find out the salesman that sold me the Jeep was contracted for that day and isn’t there so this other salesman was supposed to call me back the next day never did I called back down there the truck was took to an auction with my tool box and belongings still in it. I have been three weeks trying to get this settled for them and to tell me there is nothing they are gonna do.

On Tuesday, June 13, I went to Bristol Chevrolet because I received a monopoly based coupon from a sale they were promoting. I had researched the possible cost of a newer car, so had an idea of the amount I would be borrowing, with a certain range of possible interest rate, as I had no idea what my credit and the economy would make the loan like in reality. I was hoping to find the right car for me and my mom. I am the power of attorney for her (she's 95), and I'm a single mom with an adult child with autism, so we are on a budget. I kept telling the salesman, B, that I was the POA, and need to see numbers, the interest rate, etc to make an informed decision. I explained the type of vehicle I needed due to my driving in all weather. I was made to feel that there weren't any cars in my price range due to my credit but the three cars I was allowed to test drive had no price tag on them. I kept asking for the price, and it wasn't until I decided on the third car to try and pin down the exact numbers and the contract that another guy came in with a sheet of paper and put a few vague numbers on, and told me to sign that I agreed to the numbers if I got the loan. It made no sense. Four hours after I got there, they said I was approved and the sales manager printed out all the sheets but didn't explain the contract for me to approve. The car salesman followed me home, and never went over the contract. He just pointed to lines and asked my mom to sign. This was five hours in, and my health is not good, but I kept wondering why he wasn't explaining the contract and why I wasnt signing. 12 hours later I emailed him that this made no sense, I'd seen no contract, I wanted my car back. I work 4-12s, and had no contract, no insurance because no idea what the deal was. I went in Monday after being reassured by the store manager that he would make it right, and he blew me off, said they did not have to honor the poa. I was treated like trash, and finally saw the 23 % interest rate.
