8/3/2021 I have received services for a massive leak that this establishment was paid to fix. I own a ************* 2003 that was towed into this establishment yesterday to be repaired. I was told after it was received what this issue was and it would be ready for pick up today. I was told the charges were for $385.38 to repair everything. My fiancee (**********) went at 8am this morning to pick up the vehicle and was charges $385.38 for repairs that did NOT fix the problem. I was charged for a thermostat and several labor charges that did NOT repair my vehicle. My fiancee left in it and was told it was driveable after being told it still had a small pinhole leak in a tube to the radiator which was completely false because the vehicle had a massive leak when he returned today. I called and spoke to the manager and was told it would cost another $280 to finish repairing it. I was offered no help and was told they will not refund my money for any amount but would apply it for new cgsBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/08/04) */ We are sorry to hear about this complaint. With that being said, we sincerely apologize that Ms. ***** and Mr.****** have suffered the inconveniences that have caused this complaint to come about. The vehicle did indeed require a thermostat and thermostat housing gasket due to those parts not being on the vehicle previously and causing the vehicle to have a coolant leak. Also the heater hose assembly was a major coolant leak as well but Mr.****** was not informed about the severity of the leak. Mr.****** also informed us that the vehicle previously had a small pin hole in the heater hose assembly. With that being said, Mr.****** decided to wait on doing the heater hose assembly due to being under the impression that the leak was still only minor. With that being said, we are sincerely apologetic about our lack of communication and attention to detail in the situation. We also sincerely apologize for the extra diagnostic charge that was received on their invoice. Again we sincerely apologize for not providing a thorough invoice with the correct charges. With all of the above being stated, we have provided our customer with a reasonable solution. We look forward to assisting Ms. ***** and Mr.****** in the future. AS OF 08/04/2021, WE HAVE RESOLVED THE CUSTOMERS COMPLAINT.
