I called SOS Residential and Commercial Repair on 08/23/2022 for a non working AC unit and they came to my house on 08/24/2022 to see what was needed. When they arrived to my house, they told me that the compressor was not switching on and that they had to replace a part in order for it to work. On 08/25/2022 they came and replaced the parts, I paid $150 in cash and then paid them $570 through Zelle. The AC unit turned on, but I was not getting cold air. SOS turned on the unit to check if it worked, but told me I had to wait 48 hours because it would take some time for it to start working. SOS said that they had replaced the thermostat because it was not working properly and also replaced a transformer. SOS left after and told me to call them if nothing happened. When I came home the next day, the AC unit was still not producing cold air. I called SOS and the secretary told me that they would come by the next day. SOS came by on 08/27/2022 and they told me that they had cleaned the AC unit and hopefully that it should work and told me that I had to wait for the AC unit to start working. SOS left and the AC unit was still not blowing cold air. When I called the next day to let them know that it was still not working, the SOS told me that that they had done everything they could, and it was possible that it needed a type of gas. SOS looked and said that gas wasn't needed, and then they tinkered with the unit, and SOS said I had to wait again to see if it work. SOS left and the unit was still not working, I called later that day and they told me that they would come out tomorrow to check it out again. SOS never returned, and when I called the office again, they told me that it was too much work and that they could not come out again. I mentioned that they had a 30 day guarantee on their work, as mentioned on their receipt and that I would try to get my money back. They accused me of touching the AC unit and because of that the 30 day Guarantee was null and void.
