I phoned Citizens (Perimeter ofc) for a loan. They checked my credit (hard inquiry) and two days later did another hard inquiry, causing my credit score to drop. I asked them to remove it and they have not. I guess since I didn’t want the loan they’re going to mess up my credit score with inquiries.Business response

The duplicate inquiry on November 11, 2022 ws requested to be removed on the same day and we received confirmation on November 15, 2022 with a status of completed. Please see the attached documentation.

I filed bankruptcy on a debt with them but they aren't recognizing it and sent police to my house with a unlawful summons.Business response

Prior to your complaint, we had no record of your bankruptcy. Neither our collection attorney nor the originating or collections branch had received notice of the filing, August 2021, or discharge, December 2021. We have contacted our collection attorney and stopped all further collection activity on your loan. The loan has been coded as having filed bankruptcy and the balance cleared due to the discharge granted by the trustee in your case. If you have any further questions regarding the loan please contact the collections office at ***** ******** as they hold the records of the loan.

i entered a loan agreement with Citizens Saving and Loan in August 2021. for A car and 7 days later was in car accident that wasnt my fault. the car was taken to the garage an to my knowledge was going to be looked at an either fixed or totaled. I called the person that i enetered the loan with and explained what had happened and was told to not worry about anything that if it was a total loss i could get another car and the bank would finance it for me.. an just keep her updated which i did. and then i come to find out the bank went to the garage an repossed the car without telling me anything and then sold my car at auction without telling me. and thte payment wasnt late or anything.. and also everything i had in the trunk of the car is now gone. and now i have a bill from them for $2000 dollars. after they took my car without telling me anything and the first payment was due nor late at the time they also sold it. after they took my car that was paid off for collateral for new car. im now without a car and it is unjustly so. they car i got for the loan is sold out from under me my personal belongings gone and my car that was paid off is also gone...Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/03/03) */ Re: BBB Case # ***** Dear Ms. *******, You entered a loan agreement with us on August 24, 2021. The first payment on the loan was due on October 2, 2021. The first time we learned about your accident was October 19th, approximately 45 days after it occurred, and after multiple attempts to contact you by phone and mail. On October 26th you let us know the insurance company had decided to repair the car and you promised to make a payment on the 29th. You returned a follow up call on November 2nd regarding the payment and that is the last time we spoke with you about the loan until after the car was picked up from the body shop. At the time we picked the car up from the body shop December 22, 2021, no payments had been made on the loan and all attempts to contact you had gone unanswered. The loan was due for three full payments. Upon inspection of the car when it came into our possession, there was no personal property in the car or trunk. You had told us the car was rear-ended, to repair it the body shop would have probably taken whatever was in the trunk out to facilitate repairing the car. Your personal property may be at the body shop. The accident, regardless of who was at fault, did not waive the obligation to make your payments. Under the terms of the loan, we were within our rights to pick up and sell the car. The proper notices were mailed to the address of record, along with the earlier mail, with no return mail ever received. Citizens is accurately reporting your account to the credit reporting agencies and is under no obligation to provide you a replacement vehicle.
