Participants of the DUI School are required to pay $125 to participate in the course that the program facilitator, who is also the owner of TCCS, shared is a for-profit company during her introduction of the "school" on the day of the program. Participants are instructed to be present for the day long course by 9am. On Saturday, May 4, 2024, participants were seated by approximately 8:50am. We were told by the facilitator's husband that she was running 15 min late. In reality, she was over 60 min late. The facilitator didn't begin the program until 10:08am. During her introduction, ****, the facilitator told participants that they would be locked out of the room and have to retake the class if a participant was late returning from a break. When she stated that if hats were not removed, participants wearing them would be asked to leave at which time a gentleman wearing a hat got up and left. **** proceeded to interrogate him and make a scene in front of the class both before and after the gentleman departed. **** stated she was not there to "kiss people's *****" and warned participants of the "***** stick" in her back pocket. She then shared an incredibly inappropriate story about a past participant named ******** drug reaction in a past course. Then after sharing that the course is meant to teach people to drink responsibly, I texted my attorney as I am in recovery and felt triggered by this statement. **** took this moment to share that cell phones must be turned off or silenced, which was contrary to what her husband told the group before she arrived. **** then offered a snide comment in which she singled me out for causing a class disruption with my phone use. When my attorney replied by text that I could leave, I did. I am asking for a refund as I left the class because of the owner's negligence, inappropriateness, disregard for their client's time, misuse of tuition and violation of participants' privacy as the name of a former client was shared with the whole group.Business response
