I would strongly advise against choosing this builder for your construction needs. They consistently take shortcuts and rely heavily on subcontractors, showing a lack of commitment to quality and ownership in their work. Our experience with them in purchasing a new construction has been fraught with problems since the day we moved in. Unfortunately, the owner of the company does not demonstrate pride in their work and seems indifferent to the concerns of their customers. Despite our repeated requests for a meeting with the leadership to address the issues we've encountered, we have been consistently disregarded. Attempts to communicate with the owner were met with dismissal, with remarks implying that our concerns were insignificant due to the value of our house. Regrettably, two months into residing in our home, we continue to face various problems. Furthermore, we recently discovered that the builder has installed cameras facing directly into our backyard, where our young children play—a blatant invasion of privacy. It's disconcerting to learn about such practices, and I would strongly caution anyone considering their homes to thoroughly research and exercise due diligence before making a purchase.

Subcontractors: While you present it as a negative aspect, you are correct. As a general contractor, we rely on subcontractors to complete most aspects of construction. This is standard practice in the industry and allows us to bring in specialized expertise to ensure the highest quality in every aspect of a home's construction.

Quality and Shortcuts: We take immense pride in our work and we do not cut corners in our construction process. We hold ourselves and our subcontractors to the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality. Additionally, we hire third-party quality inspectors to inspect our homes and we provide a warranty to cover an extensive list of concerns. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, occasional failures may occur during the startup of a new home. Rest assured, we stand behind our work and will address all valid warranty claims.

Request for Leadership Meeting: Our most senior employee, the Business Development and Construction Manager, has visited your home on more than one occasion to assess and discuss your concerns. He has met with and spoken with you directly. Additionally, the Business Development and Construction Manager and the owner met with your husband at the Core Homes office on January 8, 2024.

Surveillance Cameras: Surveillance cameras are in place to monitor our assets at **** *** **** *** **. The remote location of these homes neighboring yours is ripe for theft, as thieves and vandals occasionally target unoccupied completed new construction homes where no work is being performed.

Due Diligence: We wholeheartedly agree that due diligence is essential for any home purchase. We encourage all buyers to perform thorough research on Core Homes before making a purchase.
