On Sept. 15th, 2023 we agreed on a $780 quote for cleaning/removing moss on a small part of our roof. Before accepting the estimate, I was assured by Brandon B. that the job would be done within a month and once he got our written OK, he would call me with a scheduled date. That never happened. Since, I had to recall him three times…Last week my call was answered by his assistant who promised they would call me back. No call was ever received but on October 21st, I received an email blaming me because the job was not yet done and the 20% discount they offered me in September was no longer valid. Therefor if they were to do the job, they will have to raise the price for “remaining profitable”!!! They then lied saying “they tried multiple times to call my husband”. We never received any phone call, or one voicemail message left by this company. History on our cells prove it. The only message we ever received was a very short notice " text message" for the job being done the day after the text message! As working ourselves, we need to set up appointments ahead of time, not at the last minute….we also do business using phone calls or emails but certainly not by text messaging! When I asked Brandon B. when did they call and if they did leave a voicemail message, no clear answer was given: he did not know! When I mentioned to him how unprofessional he was being, he hung up the phone on me! We wanted this job done quickly. Because of their unprofessional and dishonest way of doing business, we lost 6 weeks waiting for this unreliable company. Our feeling is that our job was (1) too small and (2) did not fit into their working schedule and (3) they wanted to raise the price. I would not recommend this company to anyone and to do more research. For the customers still dealing with them, I would suggest to read their conditions as I did concerning their non-responsibility while cleaning the roof in case of damage/discolor to the siding or window trimming.

*** and her husband were very hard to contact. It was impossible to get them on the schedule. We offered a discount for our slow season, which was in September. October is our busy season. She would not accept our schedule dates and we were unable to service her. Finally, we cancelled the job. We offered to still do it, but the discount was no longer available. *** has never done business with Renew and is upset that we will not still give her a discount after over a month of trying to schedule her.

This company never contacted my husband or me for scheduling the work they commit to do within four weeks from the date of contract. No one voicemail message. Our history on cells prove they never tried to call us. The only time they contacted us was by a short notice text message to see if they could do the job the day after! We signed and returned their written contract on September 15th and became their customer from this date...even if they broke this contract, the owner does not understand that by a signed contract we became his customer and he was a supposed to be a contractor/provider of service! We wanted this job done and we recalled Brandon three times between September 15th and October 21st. If they really wanted to schedule our small job, what would be our interest do not return their phone calls???!!! This company was never willing to schedule our job. They let the time running and then asked for more money (20% more that the initial offer). I have to add that after I wrote a negative review for Renew Exterieur Services on Google, the owner, Brandon B. called on 10/23 at 2:24pm and threatened to hurt my business (his is not a customer of mine and is not allowed to do it) if I did not delete my bad review. He tried to write a bad review about my business but since it was inappropriate and he was violating Google's policy, his review was removed. He threatened to write more bad reviews until I remove mine.
