On March 14, 2024, we entered into a transaction for a window blind to be installed in our picture window to cut down on the glare of the sun due to the fact that my wife, who has Alzheimer's. sits in one location most of the day enjoying her birds feeding etc. We received notice from them that the blind, in the color my wife preferred, was not, at present, available from the manufacturer. We refused their offer of installing a temp. blind until the chosen color is available. On April 9,2024, *****, the installer, stopped by offer his apology for the delay & stated he would do every thing in his power to expedite the matter. Since that date, no word has been received from anyone at the business re; this matter; I don't believe the business has displayed any action in resolving this fact, even tho they have held onto our down payment of $325, check #*** nor have they acted in good faith towards us as customers! Therefore, we would like to have our down-payment returned, in full, even tho they have a codicil in the contract that they could use from doing so....which codicil could indicate that they have this problem too often.Business response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.I have heard from the company and am completely satisfied with the settlement concerning this complaint!This was a simple matter of "lack of communication," and I don't believe for a second that anything untoward was involved. I plan on contacting them and setting up another appointment to have a blind installed.Thank you very much for your assistance in attaining peace-of-mind concerning this matter.
