      Contracted with this business to do repairs in basement and on deck as a result of a home inspection during sale of home. The home sale did not go through but I wanted repairs done anyway. Most of job was completed in a timely fashion and well done. Mike asked to be paid and noted on the contract that he would return within one week to replace a deck post, there was to be some stair repair as well. Weather was the issue (February). After more than a year, each time i call he says he will be out, but does not come. This needs to be completed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please note on contract that I did not sign that work was completed.

      Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2022/06/15) */ This complaint was filed because 1 deck post wasn't replaced, we didn't build the deck we were just ask to replace one post that was rotten, we never made it back to replace it, is contacted her several times thru messanger but never made it to her house too repair it, i contacted her on 6-13-22 and offered her a refund for the post, but she said shed rather us replace it instead because she couldn't get anyone to do it, so I agreed to come on 6-27-22 and replace 1 deck post so that's where we stand on this issue Consumer Response /* (3000, 9, 2022/06/16) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The response will be accepted when the work is completed. Because from the beginning Mike always said he would come "next week", I am not at all comfortable calling the complaint resolved until the work is actually complete. So until June 27 and Mike shows up and replaces the post I believe this should be an open complaint. This is 17 months since Mike was paid in full. Would I be offered any good-faith if my payment were this long in being completed?
