We purchased a couch/loveseat from FF about 7 years ago in faux leather, and at the time of buying it, were not told at all that in about 6-7 years it would start to peel and shred, otherwise there is no way we would have bought it and would have reverted back to a fabric suite as we know genuine leather is far more expensive. Well fast forward to a year ago, it started to do just that, so we went back into the store with pics and was told someone would call us back, and that is when we found out from the person there, that this does happen after a few years. No one called us. My husband then posted a review for them on ****** **** and got a response asking us to please email so they could find a solution, which I did, but then got another response on ****** **** saying they could not find the email/pics and to send again to a different email for customer support, which I did forwarding all emails and pics. The peeling and shredding got so so bad that had to cover with a throw on the loveseat in particular as it looked awful and bits of it kept coming off constantly. We wanted to donate it as we recently purchased another fabric suite, not from FF obviously, but no one would take it because of it's condition, so we had to pay $339 for it to be hauled away. Still have not heard back from them and again, today, 3/22, forwarded emails/pics again to see if we get a response. Our prior fabric suite was 15 years old and in great condition and we gave it away to a friend as wanted something different that we wouldn't have to keep taking covers off to wash, and thought the faux leather would have lasted indefinitely. We should not have had to buy another suite after just 7 years or so. The faux leather wasn't cheap and just paid over $3000.00 for a new fabric one. Would not have given 1 star, but see had to for Review to be left.
